In this study,children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China is taken as the research object,and newspapers and magazines with great influence during this period are used as historical materials for literary research.Based on a comprehensive collection and sorting of the original materials about children's literature in the Japanese-occupied areas scattered in major newspapers supplements and magazines,using philological research methods,children's literature works in the period of Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China were comprehensively sorted out,and made an in-depth interpretation,and tried to present the overall appearance of children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.At the same time,taking the context of the Northeast colony as the background and using an all-round perspective,the children's literature in the period was vividly detailed and objectively realistic through a multi-level investigation of the types,themes,artistic expressions,children's literature writers,theoretical criticism and other aspects of children's literature,forming the overall construction of the development of children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.Vertically,children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China is placed in the development of modern Chinese children's literature.And it takes the horizontal comparison with the development of children's literature in other regions in the same period into consideration.To grasp the history of children's literature in Northeast China,and then to explore the existence of children's literature under the background of the period.It reveals the children's literature creator's existence and cultural choices under the Japanese colonial rule,and summarizes the historical status and cultural significance of children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.The first part summarizes the Northeast children's literature before it was occupied by the enemy.It is dividends into two aspects: one is the emergence of modern Chinese children's literature and the awakening of Northeast children's literature;the other is the Northeast New Literature Movement and the development of modern Northeast children's literature.The second part specifically explores the ecological environment of children's literature in the enemy-occupied area of Northeast China.The colonial context is an important feature of children's literature in Northeast China during the Occupied Period.The analysis of ruling institutions,cultural policies,educational measures and literary positions has clarified the characteristics of children's literature in Northeast China.The third part divides the types of children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.The children's supplements of the newspapers: “Taidong Daily”,“The specialpage for children”,“Children's Weekly”,“Juvenile”,etc.(1931-1945),the children's supplements of the newspapers: “Datong Daily”,“Children”,“Children and Students”,etc.(1933-1942),the children's supplements of the newspapers: “Shengjing Times”,“Children's Weekly”,etc.(1933-1942),the children's supplements of the newspapers: “International Association Newspaper”,“Children”,etc.(1934-1936),and magazines: “Manchurian Schoolchildren”(1936.10-1945.3),“New Manchuria”(1939.1-1945.4),“New Youth”(1935.10-1942.6),“Kylin”(1941.6-1945.1),sort out and analyze the aesthetic characteristics and artistic value of nursery rhymes,children's poems,fairy tales,children's novels,children's dramas,etc.to present the overall appearance of the development of children's literature in the Northeast Occupied Area.The fourth part examines the children's literary creation in the period of the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.Through the investigation of the authors' outstanding achievements in children's literature creation Yang Cideng,Zheng Yujun,Wei Ming and other influential writers and writers who stand on the standpoint of justice,to present the intersection and diversity of children's literary creation,and to explore the change of writer's creative thinking and the theme transition of the works caused by it,and explain the cultural significance.The fifth part presents the various themes and changes of children's literature in Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.Under colonial rule,children's literature themes showed three tendencies including resistance,latent resistance and infidelity.Each of these themes included complex and diverse expressions.Moreover,these three themes were not changeless,but showed the characteristics of penetration and theology.The sixth part is the theory and criticism of children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China.By analyzing the characteristics of the criticism of children's literary theory in the period,the direction of children's literary theory and criticism was outlined.The special time of the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China makes children's literature not only constrained by colonial rule,but also finds a living space in the gap between policies.Therefore,the children's literature in the Japanese-occupied area of Northeast China showed cultural and aesthetic values different from those of other periods.
