Jin Xue-tie(Hong Xing-jie,1916-2001)is a famous Chinese-Korean writer in both China and Korea. He experienced the baptism of the Anti-Japanese War and the Korean War and witnessed the division of the Korean Peninsula and the political turbulence in the era of peace. Therefore he was a witness of a series of major historical events in East Asia.Fortunately,Jin Xue-tie faithfully recorded this breathtaking modern history of East Asia and completed Anti-Japanese literature from the perspective of a witness with socialist realism. These novels, short stories, memoirs, biographies and essays, which reflect the theme of the Anti-Japanese War,are reminiscences of Jin Xue-tie's personal experience of the Anti-Japanese war after liberation. They integrate his own rough life experience, restore the unremitting efforts and various attempts of Korean revolutionaries to explore the path of national liberation overseas, and record the historical facts of the joint attack of Chinese and Korean revolutionaries on Japanese imperialism. The Anti-Japanese War narration of the Korean volunteer team described in this paper also became the unique mark of Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature.Jin Xue-tie first appeared on the literature stage in Seoul,South Korea in 1946,but settled down in Yanbian of China since 1952,he write all his literature in Korean. His Anti-Japanese literature filled in the blank of Anti-Japanese literature in the history of Chinese-Korean literature, which was a milestone in Korean literature. In fact,Jin Xue-tie His works were evaluated as the earliest guerrilla literature in South Korea, which established his significance and value in the Korean literary world. In the 1980s,Jin Xue-tie's works once again attracted the attention of Korean scholars and literary circles to overseas compatriots' literature and Anti-Japanese War literature after they were published in South Korea.Jin Xue-tie vividly represents the experience of Korean revolutionary youth in Anti-Japanese war in China with humorous and documentary words. His personal life experience as well as the life experience of his Korean volunteer team are also brought to the screen in the form of documentary. The revolutionary stories of Korean volunteer team and the exiled national independence movement are known by more Korean people. It can be said that to a certain extent,Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature has refreshed the modern history of South Korea. Therefore, this paper takes Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature, which has value as both historical text and literary narrative,as the theme, and based on the perspective of East Asia, tries to make a more complete and detailed annotation of the complex and unique existence of Jin Xue-tie.Specifically,this paper mainly analyzes the text world and spiritual world of Jin Xue-tie by using identity theory in postcolonial theory, intertextuality theory in text analysis and psychoanalysis. The life experience of Jin Xue-tie and the development process of Anti-Japanese literary creation, mainly shaped his personality and literary thoughts by the exile experience of four East Asian countries.Specifically, first of all,it reveals the influence of his colonial life-experience on the awakening of his national consciousness and the thorough understanding of the identity of the "subjugated slave" and points out his unyielding, patriotic spirit and resolute personality.Secondly, the experience of Anti-Japanese struggle in exile in China further encouraged Jin Xue-tie's national liberation. In order to explore the way toward national liberation,he successively participated in the Anti-Japanese martyr movement,Huangpu Military Academy, and in the direct fight against Japan by the Korean volunteer team. While working on anti-war literature and art propaganda for the Korean volunteer team,he began his early Anti-Japanese literary practice by editing the communication of the Korean volunteer team, participating in the Anti-Japanese drama, and writing scripts.Thirdly,Jin Xue-tie,who transformed from a soldier of Anti-Japanese War to a novelist after liberation, experienced a "reverse" migration from South Korea to North Korea and then to China. The ideological struggle had a huge impact on social individuals, especially for writers sensitive to ideological identity. This exile experience and discrete life led him to use the Anti-Japanese memory to write and solve his depression. Finally, this chapter summarizes the relationship between Jin Xue-tie's life experiences and literary creation, pointing out that the source of humor and wit in his works is the spirit of revolutionary optimism and indomitable resistance which are constantly tempered in the rough experience,as well as the spirit of realism which goes deep into the public and life.Among Jin Xue-tie's many works, memoirs, autobiographies and autobiographical novels all show autobiographical color. These works constitute an organic whole of Jin Xue-tie's autobiographical narrative. This paper interprets Jin Xue-tie's memoir Farewell to the Anti-Japanese War,autobiography The Last Captain and novel The Age of Passion from three aspects:group identity,self-identity and national identity. It reveals the process of Jin Xue-tie's exploration of his cultural identity and characteristics of modernity in his autobiographical narrative. The memoir War is a biography of the revolutionary experiences of Kim Xuewu,Wen Zhengyi and other members of the Korean volunteer team.Jin Xue-tie,from the perspective of on-lookers and recorders, shows readers many details of the lives of historical figures, shapes a vivid group image of the volunteer team, and presents a group biography.Jin Xue-tie,as a member of the group and the leader of the detachment, affirms the group as well as the self and makes up for the self-image of others from the side. The autobiography The Last Captain is a summary review of Jin Xue-tie's life course.Covering the largest span of time and space,it completely shows the self growth process of a colonial youth growing up into an international communist fighter and then to a literary writer. The autobiographical novel The Age of Passion is based on Jin Xue-tie's growth experiences, which is a combination of historical reality and literary imagination.Through the writing of the growth experience of"mirror self'protagonist Captain Xu,the author re-examines and rethinks himself. The strong national color also reveals the author's strong national identity consciousness. From autobiography to autobiographical novel,it not only realizes the enrichment of self-image,but also reveals the pursuit of self-identity and national identity so as to overcome the spiritual world of separation.German philosopher Hurd once said that nostalgia is the noblest pain. When separation becomes the normal life, the sorrow of Jin Xue-tie's yearning for his hometown can only be dispelled in writing. In Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literary works, short stories, novels and prose texts are intertwined and corroborated with each other, resulting in the interaction and intersection of texts, showing the dialogue between texts of different genres as well as between the author and the social environment. It specifically analyzes the intertextual relations among Jin Xue-tie's novels, essays, biographies and different styles.Jin Xue-tie frequently quoted his previously published works. This kind of self-quotation and repetition is not self-plagiarism,but rather re-examination of his own pretext in the form of introspection,so as to emphasize the history of revolutionary struggle of the Korean national liberation movement in China and to attract more attention from East Asian countries.Extratextuality refers to the relationship between one text and other texts, even social, historical and cultural texts. On one hand,as a writer with a strong sense of history,Jin Xue-tie is always the starting point and foothold of his literary creation. On the other hand, the existence of Jin Xue-tie and his text is a kind of historical text, reflecting the changes of modern history of East Asia. The literary narration of the novel and the historical narration of news reports respond to each other from different sides and angles, interweaving the literary historical scene. In a word, intertextuality runs through Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literary works.Through intertextual narration, the boundary between history and fiction is broken, history and memory are re-examined and re-written.A variety of styles are comprehensively used so that the structure presents a harmonious formal beauty.Through the above analysis,it reveals the reasons and artistic characteristics of the intertextual relationship of Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature.Under the joint effect of memory writing and intertextual writing,Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature has realized the interaction and communication between inside and outside the text, completing the dialogue with history and the candlelight of the times. When memory begins to blur, words become the best way to keep it.In the history of Anti-Japanese struggle and national liberation of China and South Korea, the name of the Korean volunteer team began to become clear because of Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese writing. As a witness and spokesperson of history,Jin Xue-tie fulfilled his promise of recording the real history and showing the most real appearance of history in the battle. His short or long literary works bear the unique individual memory of the collective memory of the East Asian people. These words are not only for Jin Xue-tie but also for his late comrades in arms.On one hand, they are for the memory of forgetting. On the other hand, they are to avoid their achievements being forgotten in the long history.Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature has set up monuments for Korean revolutionaries, which has become the media of cultural memory, the "memory field" of transmitting national values and building national identity.Jin Xue-tie's Anti-Japanese literature is the epitome of the modern history of East Asia, which directly promotes the re-writing of the modern history of South Korea and in a certain sense, reconstructs the history of anti-colonial struggle.
