As a famous politician and litterateur in the early Northern Song Dynasty,Tian Xi inherited the fine tradition of Tang culture.Aiming at the cultural dilemma faced by the society in the early Song Dynasty,he devoted himself to the reform of social atmosphere with active attitude. In the case of low scholar-style,Tian Xi,a Confucian gentleman who took the country as his duty, set an example for the scholars. He tried his best to sweep away the past five generations of literature by his own creation, and had his own thoughts and attempts on the development of literature in the Song Dynasty. This paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter elaborates the double predicament of style and style of writing in the early stage of Song Dynasty. In the early Song Dynasty, due to the chaos of the Five Dynasties, the cultural ecology was in a very difficult situation. On the one hand, the literati and officials seriously lack the sense of social responsibility, and the overall outlook is not optimistic. On the other hand,in the literary world, the parallel prose focused on singing and praising virtues without any real emotion at all,and the realistic spirit that literature should have was completely lost.In order to remove the dilemma and rebuild Confucianism, the rulers paid a lot of efforts.Still, little has been done. The emergence of Tian Xi not only complied with the situation of cultural construction, but also shaped the model of scholars in the Song Dynasty with his personal efforts. The second chapter analyzes the influence of Tian Xi's growing environment and personal experience on his political personality and literary expression.Tian Xi was born in Shu and spent the most important youth in there.Tian Xi was deeply influenced by the Confucian culture and the cultural tradition of inclusiveness in Shu.He was born in the common class, his grandfather and father are noble and not official celebrities, but Tian Xi's father wanted him to be able to enter the official career. After his parents passed away,he chose to study abroad.During this period,he experienced the bitterness of the world and benefited a lot from the influence of mainstream culture. It is these unique experiences that form Tian Xi's unique ideological character and specific psychological structure. The third chapter discusses Tian Xi's vanguard role in the reconstruction of core values in the early Song Dynasty.Tian xi advocated inheriting the tang system, but while inheriting the tang culture was beneficial to the song court,he combined with the needs of The Times, and tried to create an era of the Song.He regarded the Confucian moral value system as the foundation of the country and society, and actively devoted himself to the remolding of the Confucian ideological system. His political thought,in addition to the traditional Confucian thought, also has the unique characteristics of the early Song Dynasty. As a traditional Confucian scholar,Tian Xi focused on the improvement of his personality, and the failure in the foreign battlefield in the early Song Dynasty also made Tian Xi begin to pay more attention to the defense of Huayi, all of which contributed to the final formation of the introveted Song culture. The fourth chapter discusses Tian Xi's important position in the construction of scholar style in the Northern Song Dynasty. The identity of the literati and officialdom in the Song Dynasty was rare in all dynasties. In addition to the preferential treatment and tolerance of scholar-officials by the rulers of the Song Dynasty, the scholar-officials in the early Song Dynasty played a leading role, and Tian Xi can be said to be the example and powerful call for the rise of scholar-officials.In the face of the emperor,Tian Xi dared to remonish directly, which was different from the two ministers from the Five Dynasties who were admitted to the Song Dynasty, which fully reflected the integrity of a scholar and official and the consciousness of ruling the world together with the emperor. But to the common people,he cared about the public orphed, for the common people Chang Yi outspoken, showing the traditional scholar-imperial strong sense of responsibility and social responsibility. The fifth chapter analyzes Tian Xi's prose theory and creation.Tian Xi has similarities with other ancient writers in theory and creation, but also has many differences. He attached great importance to the social function of "Writings" and believed that "Tao" was the foundation of " Writings ",but at the same time advocated equal importance to " Writings " and "Tao" and recognized the independence of "Writings ".Under the influence of Taoism,he advocated the natural style of writing, which reflected the literary tendency of confluence of Confucianism and Taoism.Tian Xi created a variety of prose types, most of the Han and Tang Dynasties as the system of prose, with elegant and beautiful, the quality of the text is far from the characteristics. The sixth chapter discusses Tian Xi's poetic thoughts and poetic creation.Tian Xi advocated restoring the tradition of beauty and thorns in poetry. On the other hand,Tian Xi regarded poetry as a pastime, and his demands on the political aspects of poetry were far lower than those of prose. Therefore,Tian Xi is very tolerant of gorgeous poetic style. He created various styles of poetry, combining the strengths of the previous generation of poets but also out of their own creativity, providing a powerful attempt to open up a new path for the song poetry. The seventh chapter elaborates Tian Xi's influence on the literati and officialdom of the Northern Song Dynasty.Tian Xi long experience officialdom, got acquainted with a large number of gentlemen's friends. When he was in the palace,he set an example for the scholars and officials in the court. When he was an official,he devoted himself to the governance of the local people's livelihood and the refinement of local customs. No matter in the style of scholars or literature,Tian Xi had a significant influence on the literati at that time and later generations, especially on the sichuan-born literati and many literati in the qingli period. His noble political personality,so that it became the forerunner of the wind, become Fan Zhongyan,Sima Guang and other people worship the idol. His theory of poetry and prose also had some enlightenment for the literary views of "three Su" and Ouyang Xiu,the great literary masters of the northern song dynasty.
