The civilian officials of Han Dynasty were recorded in Han Shu—Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao and Xu Han Shu—Bai Guan Zhi.Besides,a large number of Han Dynasty officials were also found in the excavated documents, such as the seal, the clay, and inscribed slips and so on,which are of great academic value for the study of Han Dynasty officials. In this paper,we extensively search and collate the materials of Western Han officials found in excavated documents, compare them with the Table of Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao, and discuss the related issues. The thesis is divided into two parts: the first part is a research chapter. The Introduction introduces the history of Western Han officials that is seen in the excavated documents, the shortcomings of the current research, the research ideas and methods of this paper, the innovations and shortcomings of my paper. The first chapter is about the central officials of the Western Han Dynasty that is seen in the excavated documents, divides into five sections, comparing the officials of the period from Han emperor to queen Lv,the Wenjing period, the mid-Han period, and the late Western Han period that is seen in excavated documents with the Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao, and summarizing the central officials that are not found in the Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao and the Western Han dynasty officials that cannot be judged. The comparison reveals that the official system described in the Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao began to take shape only during the reign of Wen Jing and took shape only in the mid-Han period, while the late Western Han period was a period of "provincial reduction",focusing on the abolition and consolidation of organizations. The second chapter is divided into three sections, namely, kingdoms and states of the Western Han period that is seen in the excavated documents, and kingdom officials that are not found in the Bai Guan Gong Qing Biao and cannot be attributed to them.Since the Han inherited the Qin system, but in fact Liu Bang inherited the Chu system before and after he became the emperor, this section focuses on tracing the officials to the Warring States period and summarizing their functions.Through this review,it is found that two sets of administrative systems existed in the early Han Dynasty, namely, the marquis family officials and those who were subordinate to the central government. The third chapter is County officials in the Western Han period that is seen in the excavated documents, divided into two sections: the first section is for county officials and the second section is for prefectures officials.Through the combing,it is found that in the early Western Han Dynasty, the county sheriff was mainly responsible for military functions, and the setting of county officials was relatively simple. In the middle and late Western Han Dynasty, the number of county officials increased. It is also possible that there were two sets of administrative systems in ethnic minority areas: Han court officials and ethnic minority officials. This fourth chapter is divided into five sections: industry, mining and commerce, military, agriculture, forestry and water conservation, animal husbandry, and storage.I sorted out the officials of salt and iron officials, the officials of water, and the officials of work, whosewage was longer than the county magistrate? The following is a compilation of the officials of the Western Han period that is seen in the excavated documents.Divided into five tables: the table of officials of the central government, kingdoms, counties, prefectures, and marquisates of the Western Han Dynasty that is seen in the excavated documents. The central officials of the Western Han Dynasty are divided into two forms: those found in Bai Guan Biao and those not found in Bai Guan Biao.
