Research On The Educational Changes Of Private Art Schools In The Jiangnan Area In Modern Times

This thesis takes the educational changes of private art schools in modern China as the research object to explore their positive role in the historical process of modern art education.The perspective focus on the close relationship of complementation between private art schools and public art schools,begins with “initiation” discussing the rise and development of private schools of art education in modern times;unfold the “establishment” focusing on the domestication of the education system of private art schools which means to distinguish the historical disputes about the "orthodoxy" in the running mechanism of private art schools in the past half century;take “operation”as the clue expounding the multiple mechanism of private schools of art education in many aspects and levels;take the theme “breaking through” to reveal the choices of localization education of private art schools for half a century,indicating the unique and arduous process of private art schools in a historical period.In the second half of the 20 th century,at the beginning of the founding of new China,under the policy of "education should serve national construction,schools should open to workers and peasants,and improve the people's cultural level vigorously ",along with the historical process of socialist transformation,and the movement of nationalization of education,it is inevitable that the art education of private school should quit the stage of history.Therefore,take “back-looking” as a conclusion to complete the history of art education in modern China.Beside the exploration of developing process of private art schools,this thesis also focus on the special contribution in history of art education of private schools which as an important part of China's modern art education by analyzing the situation of the history of modern art education.Art education of private schools can not only promote the thought of aesthetic education and develop the atmosphere of social civilization,but also can be a supplement to public art schools which plays a key role in balancing various forces of art education in modern times.At the same time,private art schools also serve as model exploration for the establishment of public art schools.
