At the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties when the whole country was undergoing rapid changes,Fu Shan lived with a “messy and disordered” calligraphic thought, which was revealed in his works and writings.Among them,Fu Shan deeply reflected on the great changes in current events in the annotations of “Zhuangzi” and“Xunzi”,put the worldly grievances aside in the annotations of “Shanhaijing”and “Huainanzi”,and vented his dissatisfaction with society in his creation after the entering of Qing Dynasty.Chapter one mainly discusses “the great change in calligraphic style ” during his life experience, analyzes his ideological construction of “domestic management and worldly salvation”,and interprets his “contradictory and pluralistic” survivor identity.Chapter two, research on the origin of Fu Shan's calligraphic thought, mainly involves the study of hundred schools of thought, textual research and medicine, and besides, further research may be carried out.All of the above mentioned, reflected in Fu Shan's calligraphic thought, are mainly manifested by the calligraphic senses of “seeking unusualness”,“ugliness and clumsiness” and “Tianni”,which are demonstrated in chapter three to five. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Fu Shan had a completely different thinking and perception of life, which caused his calligraphy style to change diversely, sometimes being clam or aggressive, while sometimes being capricious or free-minded.Chapter six mainly elaborates on Fu Shan's creation with an throughout embodiment of “seal character and clerical script”,indicating both emotional expression and rational thinking and thus producing an unduplicated calligraphic effect. The research reviews Fu Shan's ups and downs from the perspective of the changes in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, dissects Fu's contradictory and diverse calligraphy thoughts through his writings, poems, postscripts, and annotations, and analyzes Fu's complex and creative calligraphic thoughts by having a combined knowledge of his circle of friends, acquisition of calligraphy style and accepted concepts.
