Modern comics is a comprehensive mass art,which breaks through the narrative limitations of traditional allegorical comics.It is an isomorphism of plastic arts,lens grammar and narrative text.Its cultural attribute and aesthetic mechanism are special and complex.With the advent of the new media era,the digital internet has changed the aesthetic creation and symbol consumption mechanism of comic symbols,as well as its cultural participation and cross-cultural communication mechanism.In the vast "hyperreality" digital simulacrum world and symbol consumption activities,comic image narrative can be generalized at the level of mass culture,not only from the subculture close to the mainstream culture,but also bear the responsibility more complex functions of cultural construction,Cartoon image narrative can be generalized at the level of mass culture,which not only approaches the mainstream culture from the subculture,but also undertakes a more complex cultural construction function.In the visual dimension,it is fully involved in the mass aesthetic with flat,stylized and fragmented image language.Under the guidance of the consumption logic of digital image symbols,it integrates entertainment and criticism,and integrates and changes the film and television,advertising,mobile phone software,promote the visual innovation of popular culture in the form of role economy.This paper focuses on the study of modern comics in the new media era,and its various generalized forms,comprehensively uses the methods of semiotics,iconology,cultural sociology and communication,combines theoretical deduction,empirical research,comparative research and case analysis,comprehensively clarifies the aesthetic creation mechanism,symbolic consumption mechanism and cultural participation mechanism of comics in the new media era,and then explores the new media era The strategy and mechanism of cross-cultural communication in the new media era is to find a new way to construct the style paradigm,interpret the traditional culture,construct the spirit of the times and give play to the social function.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter attempts to define the definition of modern comics accurately,and on this basis to explore the binary relationship between media carrier and comic form,so as to establish a clear perspective and framework for related research.In the second chapter,from the perspective of iconology and cultural sociology,comprehensively analyzes the transformation of the aesthetic creation mechanism of modern comics from the four aspects of comic production environment,image narrative mechanism,cultural collage technique and value orientation metaphor in the new media era,analyzes the independent trend of its narrative mechanism,and points out the isomorphism between the commodity and the aesthetic,and the integration of the traditional aesthetics and the spirit of the times.In the third chapter,with the semiotics method,analyzes the transformation of the symbol consumption mechanism of modern comics from three aspects of reading style,symbol code reconstruction and consumption carrier in the new media era,explores the symbol coding and decoding mechanism in the construction of mass culture and aesthetic consciousness,and puts forward some new characteristics of the symbol consumption,such as weak coding,isomorphic decoding,nurturing consumption,etc Comics can construct group rationality in interactive reading and symbol consumption,and analyze the isomorphic trend of visual culture and conceptual culture based on modern comics.In the fourth chapter,using the method of cultural sociology,discusses the transformation of cultural participation mechanism of modern comics from three aspects: the construction of public image,the construction of national image and the aesthetic solution of social problems in the new media era,explores the rich social functions of comics,and points out that modern caricature is changing the construction of public image from facial image to diversified illustration It is changing the construction of national image from grand heroism narration to fifth chapter,from the perspective of iconology and communication,analyzes the transformation of cross-cultural communication mechanism of modern comics in the new media era by comparing the communication environment of the traditional media era and the new media era,and puts forward some new characteristics of cross-cultural communication of comics in the new media era,such as multiple channels,weak cultural discount,active involvement in the construction of global cultural landscape and integration of hypermedia text This paper explores the cultural identity mechanism based on modern comics,and analyzes and prospects the cross-cultural communication strategies and paths of Chinese comics.
