Based on the theory that the noumenon and function of Qi?are real existence,WANG Chuanshan constructed his universe ontology,which takes Yi?ology as the center,Qi as the main body,and the unity of Li?and Qi.With the thinking mode of"reflecting noumenon by function(you yong yi de ti?????)"and"two ends being consistent(liang duan he yi zhi?????)",WANG Chuanshan put his ontology through the whole process of poetry criticism.From his specific"practice"of poetry criticism,we can get the"noumenon"of his aesthetic thought.It is in the consistent logical framework of philosophy and poetics that WANG Chuanshan proposed that"the word‘Shi'(trend,momentum,tendency,potential)should be paid attention to"and constructed his important aesthetics of Shi theory.WANG Chuanshan mainly discusses "Shi" from the ontology of Qi,and expounds the essence and connotation of Shi in the relationship between Qi and Shi,Li(reason,principle)and Qi,Li and Shi.In the relationship between Qi and Shi,Qi is the noumenon of Shi,and Shi is the inevitable trend and law of Qi in motion.Qi and Shi complement each other.As for the relationship between Li and Qi,WANG Chuanshan emphasizes that Qi is the main carrier,and Li comes into being with the change of Qi movement.Without Qi,there is no Li.They are inseparable from each other and complement each other.Shi and Li are not only interdependent,but also have the generative logical relationship of mutual cause and mutual action in the production,corresponding in the process and complementary in the result.As the two sides of Qi,Li and Shi are the same and return to one."The word Shi is subtle,the word Li is broad,and the combination is heaven(Tian ?)."WANG Chuanshan believes that"Shi"is related to the formation and evolution of the universe.In the Qi of Taixu??,yin?and yang?are moving,moving and static,rising and falling,creating and transforming all things,and Shi is in it,which is the Shi of nature.WANG Chuanshan profoundly reveals the internal relationship between the"Shi"of nature and the formation of the universe through the dialectical relationship between emptiness and reality,past and future,present and ancient.The Qi of yin and Yang is moving and static,daily renewal,transforming and generating all things,and the creativeness of"Shi"is inherent in it.As the natural law and function of the universe,Shi has a certain connection with time."Shi?(Time)"is a necessary factor for the formation of Shi,and Shi is inevitable in the course of time.In addition,"Shi"establishes the category relationship of"Shi"and"Shi?"through"Ji?"and"Shi?",and also highlights its timeliness through"Ji",which is the weak state of movement and the beginning of things.From the ontological point of view,Shi has the space structure of treating each other dialectically and unifying.From the Generative Point of view,Shi has the space constitution function of forming image.WANG Chuanshan's poetry aesthetics advocates that"meaning is the main and trend is the second(????,???)",and"meaning(Yi?)"is the core aesthetic category of poetry aesthetics."Shi"and"Yi"are more directly and closely related than other aesthetic categories.In this sense,"Shi"is actually"Yi shi??".To some extent,it can be regarded as a kind of aesthetic emotion in a broad sense.The uniqueness and importance of WANG's Yi Shi view lies in its internal intentionality structure,which makes it the theoretical basis of the theory of"image".For WANG Chuanshan,"Shi"has a close dialectical relationship with"Yi"and"Shen li??".Among them,the"Shen li"corresponds to the tendency of dragon's movement.Therefore,"Shen yun??"and"Shi"are also intrinsically related,and its"Li"is related to the artistic authenticity of"meaning must be sincere".Based on the"dynamic and static(??)"view and"Dao Qi??"view of Yi ology,WANG Chuanshan put forward the view of situation or posture as an aesthetic form.As a form of"Ti Shi??",there are different degrees of embodiment in the factors of time,space and force,thus showing the beauty of dynamic potential and the beauty of static potential.What is important is that in the alternation of movement and stillness,time leads space,"Shi"generates a musical rhythm and form of life integrating time and space."Shi"is creative,while"Qu Shi??"is an aesthetic creative activity.It is not only an important way to create aesthetic image,but also a cardinal mechanism to create artistic conception.As the principle of existence and generation based on the philosophy of Qi,Shi takes the real Qi as the way of existence,which is transformed in the time of movement and stillness,and finally becomes an image.
