Since the beginning of the new century, the group rise of emerging countries represented by China has profoundly changed the power distribution structure of the international system, and this has triggered the need for new countries to redistribute institutions, interests and conceptual structures, which cause international Order in the process of transformation and reshaping. At the same time,Brexit,Trump's unilateralism, the lag of the current global institutional arrangement and the concept of order also pose severe challenges to the future of the existing international order of the United States and the western centered, which results in the dilemma about disorder of global governance.Hence, how to promote the international order from a conceptual and practical level to a more just and rational direction has become an urgent concerning issue to the international society. In this context,Chinese and foreign scholars and research institutions have maintained a high enthusiasm for the study of the relations between the rise of China and the transformation of the international order.Among them, the view of international order,as the core idea direction of China's leading and promoting reform of the international order, has also become an important topic studied by the academic community in recent years. With the continuous deepening of China's rise, the Chinese government's perception of its own national identity and national interests has changed dramatically, which has triggered a corresponding change in China's international order view?its foreign strategy and foreign policy.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee Comrade Xi Jinping has put forward the ideas and ideas for promoting "the building of a community of Shared Future for Mankind" and regards it as a new thinking and new idea for China to promote a more "fair and reasonable" international order in the new era.At the same time, the academic circles have intensified their research on China's international order view and its new changes in foreign policy, and carried out quite Chinese characteristic theoretical explorations.Regrettably, most scholars have conducted relatively isolated and factual analysis on the development history, characteristics, formation reasons, and development trends of China's international order concept and its influence, but did not connect China's international order concept with national identity, and study it in a grand historical and theoretical perspective. In other words, the academic circles lack an in-depth historical investigation and academic analysis of the relationship between China's international identity, the concept of international order and its foreign strategy from the perspective of the structure and process of eclecticism. As a rising power in the multi-polar composite world trying to lead the reform of the international order, how to construct international order consensus and promote international order reform has become an important issue in China's diplomacy. This requires an in-depth discussion on the following issues:What is the relationship between national identity, the concept of international order and foreign strategy? What is the evolution of China's international order concept? How is China's view of international order shaped? What path is followed? What are the opportunities and challenges facing China's current international order reform?Based on the perspective of constructivist identity theory, this paper follows the research path of analyzing eclecticism and tries to analyze the above problems. We argue that it is difficult to explain from the perspective of rationalism's "power or institutional choice" why countries in the same position in the power distribution structure of the international system sometimes have different characteristics and ideas for the international order. With the deepening influence of non-material factors such as culture and norms on the internalization of national interests and behaviors,it is difficult to fully explain the formation of a country's international order view from the perspective of rationalism. Therefore, although the national identity in constructivism is taken as the core variable in the research process, this paper uses a path of analyzing eclecticism to study the relationship between Chinese national identity and the view of international order in the specific analysis.First, based on the analysis of the relationship between national identity, international order and foreign strategic logic, this paper sets up the theoretical framework of the full text.We argue that the national identity, through the intermediate variable of national interests, affects the view of international order and the formulation of foreign policy. That is to say,a country's recognition of its own national identity(endogenous and relational identity)based on the international system affects the perception and definition of national interests, and ultimately affects the formation of its view of international order and the establishment of its foreign policy.Secondly, the interactive relationship between China's national identity and the view of international order after the founding of People's Republic of China is the main research line.It examines the main content and basic characteristics and evolution process of China's national identity and international order view in three period(before the reform and opening up,after the reform and opening up,since the new century).Thirdly, based on the material structure of realism, this paper takes the national characteristics(endogenous attributes)and the relationship of international society as the two dimensions of studying China's national identity, and thus to analysis the transformation process of national identity content and characteristics, the motivation and trend of China's national identity adjustment in the process of China's rise.Fourthly, this paper uses "national identity--national interests--international order view" analytical framework, analyzes the formation of China's view of international order in the new era and the adjustment of China's foreign strategy and policy under the influence of identity adjustment since the 18th national congress from the perspective of identity.Based on the above theoretical analysis and empirical investigation, the paper draws the following basic conclusions.First, there is an interaction between the national identity and the national interest and state behavior. As an important media variable connecting objective material and subjective cognition, national identity can not only externally reflect a country's subjective cognition of its national endogenous and relational identity, but also inherently affect the influence of a government'subjective cognition of national interests and shaping of the concept of international order. In a nutshell, the state is an organic actor with both rationality(rational judgment)and social attributes(conceptual construction).Among the many factors affecting the formation of the concept of international order, national identity is not the only a factor that affects the definition of national interests and the formation of the concept of international order, but it is also the core element.Second, the evolution of China's national identity and international order view shown obvious different features.Since the founding of new China, the Chinese government's cognition of its national identity and the view of international order has shown distinct characteristics in different historical periods. In this period,China's national identity as a whole has undergone from a "revolutionary"national identity outside the system to a "responsible great power" identity that is fully integrated into the international community.Correspondingly,China's view of international order has also transformed from a revolutionary overthrow of the capitalist world order to a "construction of the community of human destiny" harmonious symbiotic order view.Third, based on the Chinese government's recognition of its position in the international system,China's national attributes(endogenous identity)and international social relations identity, the current China's national identity shows an "proactive responsible great power" distinctive characteristics, this identity also shaped the Chinese government's subjective cognition and definition of its national interests, and influenced the shaping of China's view of international order in the new era.
