The Study Of The Changes Of China’s View Of International Order(1982-2018)

The international order,based on the international system,is an orderly state among countries.Its institutional guarantee lies in the operational mechanism formed by the interaction of countries around certain objectives and according to certain rules,including the framework arrangements of international law,international rules and international systems,which are the products of coordination and compromise of the interests of large countries.The role of international order lies in restraining state behavior and maintaining world peace and stability under the international community.The view of international order refers to a country’s attitude towards the international order,its role in the international order and its conception and practice of the ideal international order.It is also one of the elements of the view of international order,which is determined by the objective situation of the international order.Great powers play an important role in the international order,and their outlook on international order can play a role in shaping the international order to a certain extent.After December 1978,China began to implement reform and opening up,shifting thefocus of domestic work from class struggle to economic construction.Since the 12 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in 1982,China has formally established an independent foreign policy of peace for the smooth progress of domestic reform and opening up and the provision of a good international environment for domestic economic construction.With the development of China’s economy and the promotion of its comprehensive national strength,China’s comprehensive national strength has gradually strengthened,its international status has improved,China’s participation in the international system has deepened,and its ability to participate in global governance has gradually improved.Nowadays,the world is in an unprecedented change in a century,and the future trend of international order is in a critical historical period.Therefore,it is necessary to study the changes of China’s view of international order after 1982 and explore the ways to maintain it in the new era.Firstly,this paper will define the relevant concepts of international order and international system,clarify the relationship between international system and international order,sort out the development context of international system,and then put forward the analytical framework of this paper.Secondly,this paper will make a text analysis of the report of the Party Congress and the report of government work,and sort out the process of changes in China’s view of international order after 1982.Thirdly,the article will make a thorough analysis.Through the results of text analysis,the reasons for the change of China’s view of international order are analyzed in depth.Finally,the article will discuss how to maintain international order in the new era.
