Contemporary Interpretation Of Marx's Communication Theory

The history of the development of the whole human society is not only a history of a series of activities carried out with the communication.From the formation of early clan society to the development of economic globalization,communication has always been the main evolution way of individual collectivization and group socialization.Facing the unreasonable rationality of technology rationality and value rationality caused by global integration and big industrial civilization,Western Marxist put forward the famous "communication behavior theory",which tried to reconstruct historical materialism by means of reasonable and normative communication.However,due to the lack of realistic "weapon criticism",the theory will inevitably become the dust of history.Although the world is different from the times where Marx is,the problems brought by the globalization of communication are still burning:hegemonism and powerful politics in the international order threaten the independence and sovereignty of other countries;The security issues such as terrorism,territorial disputes and national conflicts always challenge the theme of the times of "peace and development";Developing countries are hard to avoid in seeking their own economic transformation,which will lead to the weakening of national subjectivity,weak industrial upgrading and stagnant growth;The soft power of culture such as ideology,moral standard and value concept has become the key of game among the big powers;The ecological problems such as resource shortage,environmental pollution and biodiversity destruction have gradually evolved into the common challenges of all mankind.The communication theory needs a new era turn.Communication theory is one of the important methods for Marx to study the development of capitalist society and explore the process of human history.Although no independent works have been formed,the theory of communication has been throughout Marx's thoughts all the time,and even in his later works Marx has mentioned the concept of communication many times.As a diachronic theoretical resource,communication has different meanings in different contexts,which respectively reflects the structure and organization of human and society.Communication theory is the basic starting point for Marx to examine the early capitalist society under his social environment,and also the theoretical premise for his criticism of the real social relations of capitalism,and also the normative value basis for his construction of the future communist ideal society.These three points together constitute an important link in understanding Marx's communication theory.Marx,with practice as the link,has completed the inheritance and Transcendence of the past communication problems on the basis of the research of philosophy,economics and sociology,and established the communication theory with historical materialism,thus opening up a new world door to understand and study the law of human historical development.Influenced by traditional textbooks,Marx was once thought that Marx did not have communication ideas.As the three basic concepts of Marx's interpretation of social history: economic factors,class analysis and communication,the previous research results are mainly in the first two,and the research on communication thought is obviously insufficient.In fact,Marx attaches great importance to the role of communication when constructing materialist historical view and Communist theory.Marx believes that only by vigorously developing productivity and eliminating private ownership and old division of labor,communication can get rid of alienation and realize the union of free people.Only under this premise can people in world history become individuals with all-round development,and communism can be realized finally.Marx's theory of communication is not only a theoretical weapon for deeply analyzing the development law of capitalism,but also the key to the future development of human society.We must stand in a new direction of historical development,grasp the important value of his theory comprehensively,and give it a new era connotation.This paper takes Marx communication theory as the main research object,and takes the unity of history and logic,problem analysis and text interpretation as the main research methods.Through the scientific division and summary of the five types of communication problems still existing in the social relations,the paper further points out the practical significance and the current development direction of the problem.The structure of the paper breaks through the traditional combing research mode,and tries to grasp the deep analysis from the analysis of the text to the overall construction of the theory,from the social observation of the appearance to the summary of the principle behind,from the reality of the problem to the deep analysis of the significance in the way of the combination of problem display and theoretical combing,and from the dual context of history and reality,In order to help us find the best solution to the problem of communication in the study and exploration of Marx communication.Marx once said,"philosophers just explain the world in different ways,and the problem is to change the world." The purpose of theoretical research is not only to expound the theory itself,but also to solve the existing social problems by using scientific methods.Marx's communication theory is not a pure theoretical problem,but a complex process of thinking which carries multiple factors such as Marx's criticism of the real society and the conception of the future society.Among them,material production,demand and realistic people are the important factors of their communication theory.Therefore,the study of Marx's communication theory must be from the perspectives of history and times,theory and practice,logic and thought,so as to grasp the real connotation of Marx's theory.The whole paper can be divided into six main parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the purpose,significance,current situation and research methods of the thesis.The second part is the related overview of communication theory,and analyzes the concept and content of communication.The third part makes a historical carding and textual reduction of Marx's communication theory,trying to restore the real appearance of the theory in the way of original interpretation.The fourth part is the general abstraction and generalization of Marx's communication theory on the basis of the previous,including the historical evolution,theoretical construction and dialectical characteristics of the theory.The fifth part makes a comprehensive evaluation of Marx's communication theory.The sixth part focuses on the new concept of the community of human destiny as the contemporary communication,and demonstrates the new development of Marx's communication theory in the contemporary era.
