Research On The Cultural Development Of Table Tennis In My Country

Table tennis is regarded as "the National Game" in our country, it is justlike a social symbol and it plays an important role in our people's opinion. In ourcountry, table tennis has gained great achievement and occupied an important positioncan not be changed by other countries. As the most important country in the field oftable tennis, we have the responsibility and obligation to undertake the developmenttask of table tennis. In the process of the development of table tennis, we have toclearly recognize that the occupation and monopolization of a sports item is not goodto the development of this item. To an item of sport itself, there is no boundary, itshould be universal and service the people all over the world. To realize the sustainedand stable development of table tennis around the world, we have to pay attention toimprove the awareness of its consciousness of culture. Through the research of theculture of table tennis, recognize the importance of its cultural development, forms theopinion of its cultural consciousness, realize the cultural self-confidence, and finallyimprove the development of table tennis. Due to the reasons above, the main body ofthis thesis consists of the following four parts:The first part is the third chapter. The main title of this part is the derivative ofconcept. In this chapter it expounds the derive process of table tennis culture. For theitem of table tennis, its hard power has gained a better development, but its soft powernot. The balance development of hard power and soft power is important to thedevelopment of table tennis around the world. After emphasize the importance, thispaper analyze the soft power, cultural soft power, sports cultural soft power and thetable tennis cultural soft power in the proper order.The second part is the fourth chapter. The main title of this part is thetheoretical perspective of this thesis. In this chapter, it analyzes the development oftable tennis culture from the classical division of culture——three points method,that is the material culture, system culture and spiritual culture. In order to present thecontent of the culture, this thesis analyzes the culture behind the material, system andspirit, and tries to describe the culture in every level, realize the consciousness ofculture itself deeply. The third part is the fifth chapter. The main title of this part is the case analysis.Basis on the derivative of concept and the theoretical perspective, this chapter payattention on the description of culture from its development processes. Becauseculture is invisible, so in order to trace it we have to based on the concrete examples.Research on the details from the following three aspects: material culture, systemculture and spiritual culture, this paper focuses on the specific forms of them. Onlywhen people can realize the culture in the develop ment of table tennis form that threeaspects, we can conscious the culture in table tennis, and try to change it to aconsciousness development way.The fourth part is the sixth chapter. The main title of this part is the theoreticalcondense. In this part, it focus on the awareness of table tennis culture and itsdevelopment direction. Through the analysis, we come to the conclusion that cultureis the foundation of the balance development of table tennis around the world. Theconsciousness of the culture itself of table tennis that exists in different level is thekey point to the realization of cultural. Only when we realize the changes from theculture itself to cultural consciousness, then to the cultural confidence, we canunderstand the culture development clue.
