The General Office of the State Council issued "Opinions on Strengthening School Physical Education to Promote the All-round Development of Students' Physical and Mental Health ",in which it was put forward: " physical education should strengthen health knowledge education,pay attention to sports skills learning,scientifically arrange sports load,and attach importance to practical exercises.Study and formulate the teaching guide of sports items,let students master one or two sports skills skillfully,gradually form the teaching mode of " one school one product " and " one school multiple products ",and strive to improve the quality of physical education teaching ".Under the background that the state strongly urges schools to develop towards the direction of "one school one product" and "one school multiple products ",this study uses the methods of literature,investigation,interview,questionnaire,field investigation,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to investigate the development of table tennis sports in " one school one product " table tennis characteristic schools in Henan Province,and the results are as follows: Most of the "one school one product" schools in Henan Province offer table tennis courses,but there are schools that do not offer table tennis courses.Even in the schools that offer table tennis courses,there are some grades that do not offer table tennis courses.(1)In Henan Province,there are schools that do not offer table tennis courses in the "one school one product" table tennis characteristic schools,the presence of schools offering table tennis courses is not for all grades.There were significant differences in the degree of love and the satisfaction of the course contents among the students of different gender and stage,but the overall satisfaction was more satisfactory.(2)The majority of the ping-pong characteristic schools surveyed have indoor ping-pong courts,but the number is not large;4 schools do not have outdoor ping-pong tables,and some schools with outdoor tables are not enough.The number of teachers who teach table tennis is small,but most have a bachelor's degree,and a few a master's degree or a college degree,half of the teachers do not have an athlete's grade,most teachers have received different levels of table tennis coaches training during their in-service period.(3)More than half of the schools did not arrange ping-pong exercises during the big class activities,there are obvious differences between male and female on whether the intensity of ping-pong exercise can meet their own training needs,Ping-Pong exercises should be combined with other sports activities in the arrangement of large class activities;the highest opening rate of extracurricular activities is football,table tennis and basketball tied for the second place,students participate in table tennis extracurricular activities weekly shorter time.(4)Most of the special schools provide indoor space for students to attend classes and training team training.Most schools have professional table tennis teachers or coaches to guide the training team students training,but the provision of special training funds is not enough;nearly half of the schools do not have the opportunity to participate in provincial competitions,and the number of games at the municipal or county level is very limited,the characteristic school lacks the reasonable table tennis league mechanism;the number of students who have taken the table tennis amateur grade examination is relatively small and the popularization degree is low.(5)In the construction of table tennis culture in characteristic schools,most characteristic schools use posters,slogans and blackboard newspapers to publicize table tennis sports,only a few schools have characteristic buildings related to table tennis,they will organize debate competitions and speech competitions,some schools have table tennis characteristic exhibition halls and will hold table tennis cultural festivals.(6)At present,the factors restricting the development of table tennis in "one school one product" ping-pong characteristic schools are: other sports constraints;large number of students and lack of venues and equipment;insufficient number of professional teachers;insufficient support for special funds;the theory of table tennis is not enough;insufficient cultural atmosphere of table tennis on campus;lack of all levels of campus table tennis league;lack of "one school one product" ping-pong characteristic school evaluation system;lack of follow-up inspection and supervision after the school evaluates the "one school one product" ping-pong characteristic school.(7)The strategies for the optimal development of table tennis in "one school one product" ping-pong characteristic schools are as follows: taking table tennis as the leading factor and rationally planning other sports;expanding the facilities of the venue and increasing the input of equipment;recruiting professional table tennis teachers;increasing the investment of funds and seeking multi-party support;to increase the theoretical knowledge of table tennis;constructing the campus ping-pong culture according to the actual situation of the school;and improving the mechanism of table tennis league at all levels and schools.
