Nowadays Social Network Sites(SNS)has been an important platform for people to acquire information and interact.Enormous "catharsis" comments behavior information expressed by emotional contagion affects individuals'network behavior.The emotional information is likely to drive users to generate Internet group events.It is particular suited for university students because they are not only main part of SNS users but also are easily influenced by other people's emotion.Therefore,impulse behavior induced by SNS negative information as well as its relevant intervention measures is worth further investigating.For social network sites used by university students,"sina weibo" is the most typical one because it has the largest user population.Most studies on impulsive behavior have focused on control of emotional valence,however less studies have considered about the emotional stimuli of arousal and Multi-channel induce emotions ways.As the social networks are easily to spread informations,therefore,the social network are generally controlling negative informations(arousal degree),and the video information in the social networks are passing by individual's auditory and visual channel at the same time for the transission of information.Currently,most of studies of impulsive behavior are focused on online shopping,and most of studies of the negative information on social network are focused on interent public opinion and group events.what's more,thers is nearly no study about individula emotional experiences and interent usage behavior.This study is intended to explore the mechanism that individual emotion status and emotion information apply to student users' behavior change when they are using sina weibo,and the impact that practical and operable emotion regulation strategies used in regulating or intervening in users'negative information's emotion.Five researches have been conducted to investigate different emotion information's influences on university students' impulse behavior and intervention effects of emotion regulation strategies.Research 1 includes 27 university student participants,exploring weibo usage's physiological model and students' subjective experience measured by psychophysiological experiments.Research 2 includes 70 university student participants,exploring negative emotional videos' influences on individuals' impulse behavior by conducting video information initiation experiment.Research 3 includes 77 university student participants,focusing on how different emotional pictures affect individuals' impulse behavior via picture information initiation experiment.Research 4 includes 35 universtiy students participates,instruction initition method is used to investigate cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression's intervention in emotion informationResearch 5 includes 29 participants,exploring emotion regulation's intervention effects by eye tracking technique.Results of this study are listed below:(1)Active weibo users have particular physiological patterns:higher arousal,positive valence,and obvious improvement in three positive emotional experiences:namely happiness,interest and satisfaction,were significantly improved after visiting the microblog,while no significant differeces were shown in these eight negative emotions,which are including anger,sadness,pain,nervousness,disgust,hostility,fear,and contemption.It implies that users' positive emotional experience(no matter subjective or objective)has been one of the motivations for users to use weibo again.In other words,users' enjoyment of positive emotion counts.(2)Negative emotional videos and pictures strengthen individual impulse behavior and decrease one's inhibition ability.After reading or viewing negative information,the reaction time that individuals spend on emotional Go/Nogo taks is less than that they spend on positive information.For emotional Go/Nogo taks,negative information may cause individuals to spend more time on reflection.Individuals are easily attracted by negative information so they need to spend more time and cognition resources in getting rid of influence of negative emotion.(3)Two strategies of emotional regulation,which are cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression are significantly different in regulating positive and negative information.For negative information,cognitive reappraisal is better than expression suppression,while for positive information,expression suppression is better.(4)Others' reasonable comments help individuals themselves to make cognitive reappraisal,decrease users' negative experience level and decrease the influence of negative information on impulsive behavior.For negative weibo,if information in three comments are expressed by meaningless negative emotion,users would not feel stronger negative emotion experiences.Therefore,This study found that emotional information to affect human emotional experience not only influenced by emotional valence,still under the influence of emotional arousal.And the way to present information(pictures and video)will affect individual impulsive behavior.Negative information in this article for the network effect on the potential for mass incidents has given individual Angle analysis and reference.
