Study On The Team Construction History Of University Counselors In China (1949-1978)

In China,the construction of university counselors was started in 1951.The construction of university counselors is an important project of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.China's university counselor system is not only an ideological and political education work system with Chinese characteristics,Chinese style and Chinese spirit,but also a typical Chinese higher education system.However,when reviewing the team construction history of university counselors for nearly 70 years,we discover that people have not formed a uniform viewpoint on the pioneering historical status of China in the university counselor system.Obviously,this is an expression lacking historical knowledge and cultural confidence.Historical facts show that the former Soviet Union did not have the university counselor system.However,we need to learn from the university experience of the former Soviet Union in ideological and political work.It is considered that the team construction history of university counselors was started from Tsinghua University,but Tsinghua University is not the first university to establish and implement the university counselor system.It is not easy to verify these viewpoints,because the study on the team construction history of university counselors is not only a scientific work of history,but also a historical work of science.However,these jobs just prove that the team of university counselors is the red work force of Chinese Communist Party,the backbone force of ideological and political education for undergraduates,the important force of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics,and the hard pathfinder,brave innovator and strong fighter to make China stand up,get rich and become strong.It's a pity that when we slowly advance the great project,people do not truly realize the importance of the university counselor team construction history when China began to stand up,which is the fact at least in practical exploration and academic research circles.Though the team construction of university counselors has entered the fast track of occupational and professional development,this is still not a satisfying answer and a huge progress for the history course of nearly 70 years.Fortunately,we do not forget or neglect to summarize the experience and express the value of university counselor team construction since the reform and opening up.History is the best textbook.Studying the team construction history of university counselors before the reform and opening up has an important value and far-reaching significance for strengthening and improving the team construction of university counselors in a new era,and implementing the work of ideological and political education for undergraduates from the historical perspective or realistic perspective or from the practical viewpoint or theoretical viewpoint.The author of this thesis persisted in the guidance of Marxism under the theme of “Team Construction History of University Counselors in China(1949-1978)” under the basis of policies,systems and specific historical materials.The author conducted time collation and theoretical analysis on the team construction practice of university counselors in China from1949 to 1978 via literature research method,historical approach and comparative research method by following the principles of history as line,history guiding theory and history combined with history.This thesis aimed to reveal the objective law for team construction of university counselors,to summarize the historical experience and lessons in team construction of university counselors,to acquire the important enlightenment in team construction of university counselors,and to effectively promote the new development of team construction of university counselors in a new era.The thesis is composed of three parts including introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction expounds the background,purpose and significance of studies on the team construction history of university counselors,analyzes the research status about the team construction history of university counselors,proposes the research idea and research method for the team construction history of university counselors,clarifies key points,difficulties and innovation points of studies on the team construction history of university counselors,and provides a premise for studies on the team construction history of university counselors.The text comprises four chapters.Chapter 1 discusses the historical beginning for the team construction of university counselors,explores the logical starting point and historical development for the team construction of university counselors in China,summarizes the team construction situations about ideological and political work of Chinese universities during early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,confirms the pioneering historical status of China in the university counselor system,introduces the implementation experience about the “double-shoulder” of the team construction of Tsinghua University counselor,and analyzes the main characteristics of the team construction of university counselors in China at initial stage.Chapter 2 expounds hard exploration about the team construction of university counselors,probes into the tortuous exploration history construction of university counselors need to have strict quality standards.we gained the following important enlightenment: we should realize new sustainable development in the team construction of university counselors during the new era,and stick to the combination of history,present and future in development orientation;persist in the combination of selection,cultivation and use in development value;adhere to the combination of professionalization,occupation and expert in development goal;persist in the combination of old and new,full-time and part-time,and communism and technology in development patterns;stick to point first,point to face and combination of point and face in development procedure;persist in the combination of top-level design,classified implementation and perfect system in development mechanism.The conclusion summarizes the research idea,major contents,innovation opinions,existing problems and development direction of this thesis.It is a bold innovation to choose the issue of “Study on the Team Construction History of University Counselors in China(1949-1978)” which has not been systematically studied before as the topic,and this is called “new topic”.Without previous researches as references,a new study seems very difficult.Specifically speaking,it is hard to gather and grasp the documentary sources,and this is the important reason why the educational circles try to avoid such topics.The author of this study has overcome the difficulties,as the author occupies the historical documents about the team construction of university counselors from1949 to 1978,including policy documents of the party and country,school history of universities,and local yearbook.Owing to the occupation and citing of numerous historical documents,the thesis contents are rich and new.This is called “new content”.Through the comparison,analysis and study of numerous historical materials,we discover that of the team construction of China's university counselor was started from China,rather than being introduced from the former Soviet Union.The “double-shoulder” of the team construction of Tsinghua University counselor is considered as the beginning of the team construction of China's university counselor,but Tsinghua University is not the first university to start the team construction of university counselors.This is called “new viewpoint”.The new contents and new viewpoints contained in the new topic will certainly bring about new cognition about the team construction of university counselors,and thus promote the new development of the team construction of university counselors.
