Cheng Fangwu is a famous Chinese proletariat litterateur,revolutionist,educator and social scientist.For more than fifty years,he held on Marxism-Leninism and Maoism throughout his teaching career.He always adhered to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,and always practiced the lofty social ideal of communism.He made significant contribution to the establishment and development of the ideological and political education in China.The year of 2021 is the 100th anniversary of founding of the Communist Party of China.The General Secretary,Xi Jinping,in the mobilization meeting of the history research of the Party,first proposed"the establishment of the right view of the history of the party".Nowadays,it is an important mission for the theoretical workers to inherit the enormous and majestic intellectual wealth of the Party in the century.The history of the ideological and political education is the important part of the history research of the Party.The course of Cheng Fangwu’s life development is a vivid"textbook for the ideological and political education".In the era of new democracy,he advocated regarding the theory of Marxism as a common required course in proletariat colleges and universities,making"the university during the war"into"a melting pot of turning the knowledge youth into the revolutionary fighters".He laid a foundation role of the ideological and political education in educational career of the Party,and also established the basic pattern for the ideological and political education of colleges and universities in China.Basing on the specific national conditions of the People’s Republic of China,Cheng Fangwu proposed combining with Soviet educational experience to run basic teaching——"teaching and research section",creatively establishing four teaching and research sections of classes for the ideological and political education.He began to structure the curriculum system and teaching system in higher education,promoting the formalization of the ideological and political education.He had won the titles of"the Only Professor of the Long March","the Founder of the Proletariat Education","the Pioneer of the Party School Education","the Founder of the socialism Higher Education","the Pioneer of People’s Education and Mother President",which indicate Cheng Fangwu’s rich practical experience in the ideological and political education.Together with composing the Memories of the Long March and his scientific exposition of the education thought of Maoism,he translated the Communist Manifesto five times and the classic Marxism literatures accurately,which accomplished Cheng Fangwu’s important role in the Party as"the master of Marxism"and"the master in the field of the ideological and political education".After entering the new era from socialism with Chinese characteristic,China is to achieve the great revitalization of the Chinese nation and experiencing a great change that has not happened in a century.Organizing systematically Cheng Fangwu’s thought and practical experience of the ideological and political education is not only a historical heritage for the Party’s educational outcomes of a century,but also an efficient path to innovation of the ideological and political education theory.The thesis consists of the introduction,the main body of four chapters and the conclusion.Chapter 1 focuses on the formation conditions and development history of Cheng Fangwu’s thought of the ideological and political education.As for coming into being of his thought,the objective conditions are analyzed from three aspects of historical background,regional culture,and family heritage,and the subjective conditions are analyzed from two aspects of practical experience and personal traits.As for the development history,according to different history periods of his practical experience of the ideological and political education from the New Culture Movement,new-democratic revolution to the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the sequence of the development history of Cheng Fangwu’s thought is gradually deepened into different periods of budding stage,initial development period,mature development period and system deepening period.Chapter 2 focuses on the main content of Cheng Fangwu’s thought of the ideological and political education.The first is Cheng Fanwu’s thought about the status and function of ideological and political education.This paper makes a theoretical analysis on the status of ideological and political education as"an important and necessary front in the general revolutionary front"and"the lifeline of economic and political work"and the important function of ideological and political education as"the primary task is to mobilize the people for struggle".Second,the fundamental principles of the ideological and political education are illustrated in five aspects.They are serving for proletariat politics,combining productive labor,combining social education of the other fields,both being"fewer but better"and"popularizing",and both"basic requirement"and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.Third,the ideology of the ideological and political education is elaborated concretely,and it’s four points are education for Marxism-Leninism and Maoism,circumstances and tasks,socialism and communism and rules for daily life.Fourth,the teaching methods of the ideological and political education are discussed,including the methods of teaching"teaching assistant"and"teaching oneself",heuristic and discussion teaching,typical education and model education and criticism and self-criticism.At last,the ideological and political education is stated from the aspect of carriers.Both the media and the Party building management platform are used as carriers on the basis of schooling as the most important carrier.Chapter 3 focuses on the historical evaluation of Cheng Fangwu’s thought of the ideological and political education,including the historical advance,the main characteristics and historical contribution.The historical advanced characteristic of Cheng Fangwu’s thought of the ideological and political education is discussed from the following aspects.Guided by the materialist conception of history,"education is an approach to saving the country"serving the social revolution.Empiricism is supposed to be opposed,basing on learning from Soviet attitude towards the ideological and political education from China’s actual situation.Maoism is supposed to be applied in China creatively,basing on the inheritance from the tradition of the ideological and political education of the Party.The main characteristics are structured in five aspects,including the characteristic of taking the responsibility of the ideological and political education with a strong stand of the Party,the fulfillment of the proletariat ideological and political education"the principle of people’s main position",the promotion of the aim of the ideological and political education serving for"the Party’s main task","the foundation construction"of the ideological and political education based on great theoretical attainment and the pattern development of the ideological and political education with the spirit of practical exploration.The historical contribution is presented in the following:creating a new situation for the proletariat ideological and political education,establishing the well-organized curriculum system of political theory for higher education in China,a pioneer demonstrating the functions of the ideological and political education in literary works and training a lot of researchers and practitioners of the ideological and political education.Chapter 4 focuses on the discourse power is supposed to be attached importance to due to the international environment change of the center of the world’s stage.And then,the conclusion of the enlightenment of Cheng Fangwu’s thought of the ideological and political education is drawn from the following five aspects:insisting on the socialism direction of running colleges and universities enlightened by the aim of"culturing socialism and communism successors",carrying out labor education nowadays enlightened by the idea of labor education,insisting on"unify of explicit education and hidden education"based on popularity of the ideological and political education,insisting on"combination of theoretical infusion and enlightening"b based on teaching methods of the ideological and political education and developing the teaching staff of the ideological and political education based on the idea of the teacher’s professional ethics development. |
