Xi Jinping pointed out:"people have no virtue,the root of education lies in virtue ".Xi Jinping stressed that it is the fundamental task of socialist education with Chinese characteristics.Schools should always keep in mind the initial mind of educating people for the Party,firmly stand for educating talents for the country,take building people as the core,and take virtue as the foundation.Moral education is the soul of education,and Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought always occupies the core position in his educational thought,which is the most important part.Since 1840,when the Opium War began,Imperialist gunboats opened the door of China,China has entered a period of being bullied and slaughtered.During this period,many Chinese intellectuals went on and on to save the nation and the flood of enlightenment,change and revolution.Wu Ru-lun took education as a weapon and realized the feelings of changing the country's destiny with academic strength,which reflected the historical mission and responsibility of a generation of intellectuals.Through educational reform to save the country,change the quality of the people,in order to achieve the purpose of saving the country.Wu Ru-lun's life is closely related to education.He is an important figure in the education circles of the late Qing Dynasty and is praised as "the modern times of the late Qing Dynasty","the pioneer of education"," the pioneer of institutionalized education ",is "both old and new,the integration of Chinese and Western characters".After a long period of educational practice and unremitting study and exploration,Wu Ru-lun's educational thought has been continuously enriched and matured,and has become an important part of the treasure house of Chinese modern educational thought.Wu Ru-lun hopes to reform the national character,achieve the purpose of "educating the people of the whole country "," wisdom and then knowing morality ",and cultivate modern talents with" patriotism as the main person ".This is also Wu Ru-lun's basic starting point and ultimate goal of education.He put forward the ideas of "the essence of learning from the east and the west edify","open wisdom and then know morality and education "," must cultivate patriotism as the main "," no sports is weak" and so on,with foresight,science and guidance.Since the 1990s,the domestic academic circles began to pay attention to the study of Wu Ru-lun's educational thought,and also produced some influential research results.In view of the above situation,this paper tries to select the perspective of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought,and systematically combs and deeply studies Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought's formation origin,the main content and the practice cultivation,the appraisal and so on,has the higher research value.This paper guided by Marxist theory,makes a comprehensive and systematic discussion on the connotation and contemporary value of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought.First of all,it introduces Mr.Wu Ru-lun's life and his educational thought in detail,then deeply analyzes the objective environment,subjective factors,origin and development course of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought,and thinks that the formation of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought is not only influenced by the social background of saving the nation,but also the product of Wu Ru-lun's active inheritance and development of traditional moral education thought,active learning and learning from the modern theory of western moral education.The development process is mainly divided into four stages:germination,formation,development and maturity.Secondly,it expounds the main contents of Wu Rulun's moral education thought,including its moral education goal,moral education content,moral education principle and moral education method.To sum up,Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought mainly includes the moral education purpose of combining "man should aim in the four directions "," virtue first" and "learning as the body ",the great moral education view of"opening the people's folly and making it wise "," wisdom opening then knowing morality and teaching ",the talent training goal of "educating all the people" and "encouraging the nation to become a nation ",including moral education in the aspects of self-cultivation,family unity,scholarship,official and society.On this basis,from the perspective of the pioneering exploration of the transition from traditional moral education to modern moral education and the beneficial attempt to train modern talents,the important historical contribution of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought is highly appraised,and the theoretical system of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought is presented completely,which fully embodies the unity of tradition and modern,the consideration of talent and adult,and the combination of cognition and practice.Finally,on the basis of discussing the historical orientation and limitation of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought,this paper expounds the contemporary value of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought,analyzes the reference value of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought in the goal,content and practice way,and analyzes the possibility and necessity of the modern transformation of Wu Ru-lun's moral education thought,and explores its transformation path.
