Young college students are the fresh troops of the Great Rejuvenation of Chinese nation.They are the hope of Chinese nation,who undertake the era mission of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.How college students identify the major ideology in the new era is not only the key issue that brings them into play,but also the important factor that directly affects the modernization of ideological governance and the security of national ideology.Since the Eighteen Party's Congress,the Central Committee of the CPC,which takes Comrade Xi Jinping as center,has placed the ideological construction in a quite important position.It has further deepened the cognition of the raw of ideological work and ideological and political education in Colleges,and created a new situation of the identity recognition of university students' major consciousness in the new era.However,we should also clearly recognize that the current mainstream ideological identity of college students has not only made great achievements,but also many new contradictions and problems.The penetration of ideology brought by the international community and the social problems arise from society reforming make the recognition of the mainstream ideology of college students become a major strategic issue,which must be solved in the ideological construction of our country in the new era.Whether college students identify with the mainstream ideology and how to effectively improve it are related to the overall process of the modernization of national governance,the overall scheme of the party,the improvement of national cohesion and the country's soft power,and the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Therefore,it is very urgent and necessary to study the mainstream ideological identity of college students in the new era.Giving consideration to both theoretical logic and historical logic,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the mainstream ideological identity of college students from two aspects--theoretical traceability and historical investigation.In the way of the analyzing the intellectual history of the concept of ideology,reviewing the original concept of ideology,showing the theoretical picture of the generation and development of Marxist ideological theory.At the same time,this paper also analyzes the ideology of Marx and Engels from three aspects of social background,ideological succession and text interpretation,which is the theoretical origin of the mainstream ideological identity of college students.Then it further analyzes the evolution of Marxist ideological theory,and constantly promotes the development of Marxist ideological theory through exploration,practice,inheritance and innovation.On this basis,combined with the theme of this paper,it explains the relevant theories of the mainstream ideological identity,clarifies the relationship between college students and the mainstream ideological identity,and explains the strategic significance of the mainstream ideological identity of college students through the structured presentation.According to historical stages,taking important theoretical achievements,system creation and ideological construction as the main contents,this paper investigates the history of the mainstream ideological identity of college students in China since the founding of China and finds out the basic characteristics of its historical evolution,and summarizes the experience and lessons in the historical review.Giving consideration to both Realistic logic and practical logic,this paper closely follows the reality of the new era,and analyzes the current situation of the mainstream ideological identity of college students from the two dimensions--opportunities and challenges.On the one hand,the current mainstream ideological identity of college students in China is faced with administration opportunities,governance opportunities,institutional opportunities,technical opportunities and subjective opportunities.On the other hand,it is faced with integration challenges,absence challenges,instrumental challenges,relational challenges and security challenges.It is in the reality analysis that we combine the new requirements of the new era to elaborate the practical significance and main contents of the mainstream ideological identity of college students,and point out the basic principles of strengthening the mainstream ideological identity of college students,which lays the foundation for better promoting the mainstream ideological identity of college students.Giving consideration to both real case logic and the qualitative logic,this paper conducts empirical research through the data of case investigation,so as to intuitively show the basic situation of the current mainstream ideological identity of college students,and explain the performance and reasons of the level of identity of related issues,which provides scientific data support for this paper.In the comprehensive analysis of the case study results and the current situation of the mainstream ideological identity of college students in China,this paper puts forward a targeted practical program.Taking the premise of firmly holding the discourse power of ideological leadership,we should actively create a social and cultural atmosphere of mainstream ideological identity,further promote the overall scheme of ideological work in colleges,especially strengthen ideological and political education of colleges.In the meantime,we must focus on the new historical development trend of the new media era,so as to provide diversity for mainstream ideological identity of college students Educational platform.There are five chapters in this paper – the theoretical tracing of the mainstream ideology of college students,the historical investigation of the mainstream ideology identity of college students in China,the practical dimension of the mainstream ideology identity of college students in the new era,the practical case analysis of the mainstream ideology identity of college students in the new era and the practical scheme of strengthening the mainstream ideology identity of college students in the new era.This paper attempts to construct a relatively complete problem analysis framework,which can provide some reference value for the study of the mainstream ideological identity of college students in the new era.
