The mainstream ideology in a country refers to the ideological doctrine that dominates the social consciousness and plays a guiding role in the economic foundation and superstructure and serves the fundamental interests of the ruling class,whose nature depends on the nature of the country served.The nature of our country determines the socialist nature of our mainstream ideology.It is a scientific system based on Marxism and based on the theoretical system of Marxism-Leninism,Mao Zedong Thought and the socialism with Chinese characteristics and covering the advanced socialist culture,outstanding Chinese traditional culture and the lofty ideals of communism.With the acceleration of China's social transformation and the increasingly close cultural exchange between China and other countries,contemporary college students have the characteristics of an era of opening,diversification and individualization.College students have not enough recognition,approval and satisfaction with the social mainstream ideology The new contradictions bring new difficulties and challenges to the mainstream ideological education of college students.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to conduct an in-depth and systematic study on the contemporary college students' mainstream ideological education.The thesis mainly consists of five parts:The first part:introduction.This part of the content analyzes the new times environment that the mainstream ideology education of the university students faces,combs the research status of the scholars at home and abroad about this issue,and expounds the research contents and empirical research methods of the thesis in general,Points out the innovations of the dissertation both in the empirical research methods and in the content of ideological education.The second part:The general theory of the college students' mainstream ideological education.This part firstly defines the related concept of the mainstream ideological education for undergraduates in detail and emphasizes the necessity of strengthening the research on the mainstream ideological education for the undergraduates in the new era.The third part is the collection and arrangement of the investigation data of the contemporary college students' mainstream ideological education.The method of social investigation and research is applied to the research and dissertation writing of the thesis.Taking the general identity of the mainstream ideology,the identity recognition of the mainstream ideology,the recognition and satisfaction of the mainstream ideology education as the analysis dimension,The ideological situation and the mainstream ideological education have gained more comprehensive,systematic and accurate understanding..Part IV:The Basic Principles of Contemporary College Students' Mainstream Ideological Education.This part summarizes the insistence on the guidance of Marxist scientific theory,nurtures the belief of lofty ideals,takes the socialism with Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping's new era as the important content,relies on the core values of socialism,and integrates ideological education with excellent traditional culture and education As the Five Principles of Contemporary College Students'Mainstream Ideological EducationThe fifth part:the contemporary college students the main ideological education countermeasure research.From the aspects of new media network construction,social practice participation,the combination of home school society and the improvement of comprehensive quality of educators,a new method of college students' mainstream ideological education is put forward.
