| International trade is not only the fundamental method of commodity exchange and resourse allocation in the worldwide,but also the basic driving force for the evolution of international relations.When it comes to international trade rules,it is the basic law of international trade governance system,and also the basic tool of adjustment of international interests and relations.And it plays an significant role in international trade and international relations.After World War II,international trade rules have developed over 70 years.At present,it is in an important historical period of adjustment and evolution,and is facing serve challenges in many aspects both internally and externally.As a big trading country and the largest trade partner of more than 120 countries,China plays an important role in the global trade pattern.Strengthening global governance and promoting the reform of it is not only related to meeting global challenges,but also to" setting rules and directions" for the international order and system.They are not only related to the competition for the "commanding point of development",but also related to China’s position and role in the "long-term institutional arrangement" of the international order and system.China should closely participate in the process of adjustment and evolution of international trade rules,and further study the nature,composition and current evolution of it,which is better to grasp China’s position in international trade pattern and lays the foundation of guiding the development of international trade rules in a positive direction.It’s not a long time for China to participate in the formulation of international trade rules,but it has crossed the stage of learning,full participation and active guidance,and has developed into the main leader of these rules In order to promote the comprehensive deepening of reforms and opening up to a higher level,to grasp the overall situation of both domestic and international affairs,and to create an external environment for achieving the "two hundred years" goal and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is necessary to increase the grasp and guidance of international trade rules.Moreover,this research analysed China’s position in the international trade rules,and a SWOT analysis was used to explore the opportunities and potential risks of China’s participation in international trade.Finally,the overall framework,principles and corresponding measures for China’s participation in international trade rules are formulated.This paper is divided into nine chapters.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the research,it explains some basic concepts involved,some research ideas and methods are proposed,and the basic framework of the research is constructed.The second chapter summarizes the classical theories and research progress of international trade rules.The third chapter analyzes the essence and mechanism of international trade rules and the relationships between these rules and international strategic pattern and competition-cooperation among big powers.The fourth chapter sorts out the main components and the next development trend of the international trade rules and divides these rules into two parts:traditional international trade rules and new international trade rules,focusing on the analysis and judgement of development trend and next direction of new international trade rules.The fifth chapter discusses the current development and evolution of international trade rules and summarizes the current characteristics of it.The sixth chapter analyzes and points out China’s position in international trade rules is "the main leader of trade rules the defender of multilateral trade rules system the representative of developing countries".Chapter seven analyzes the relationship between participation in international trade rules and China’s next development,evolution and industrial upgrading,at the same time proposes that participates in the formulation of international trade rules is consistent with China’s deepening reform and opening up and further enhancing its international status.Chapter eight analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of China’s participation in international trade rules by SWOT method.Chapter nine discusses the general thinking,principles and political strategies of China’s participation in international trade rules.In general,this paper summarizes the following points:First,the essence of international trade rules is the foundation of international trade,and is influenced by the theme of the times,the international strategic pattern and the competition-cooperation situation of big countries.Secondly,these rules can be divided into traditional international trade rules and new international trade rules,which are becoming more and more
