New Trends In The Development Of International Economic And Trade Rules And China's Countermeasure Research

Since the outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008,the global trade landscape is quietly changing.With the stagnation in the Doha Round negotiations,the multilateral trade system is facing enormous challenges and the negotiation progress is slow.The development of economic globalization has brought tolerance and open development to all countries,however,the speed of development in various countries is very different.The re-construction of a new type of economic globalization and the raging progress of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have also triggered the restructuring of the global value chain,both of which are driving the rapid development of the current global economic and trade rules.In addition,the accelerating process of regional economic cooperation and integration,together with the expansion of the appeals of the major powers in the formulation of economic and trade rules,the rise of emerging countries and economies has also assumed a higher status in the formulation of international economic and trade rules.As a result,all parties hope to reform and reshape the current international economic and trade rule system.This article believes that the new trend of international economic and trade rules is mainly reflected in the new rules contents,the updating of rules and the new rulemaking subjects.While the evolution of international economic and trade rules has brought certain opportunities to China,it has also brought about Great challenge.Therefore,China should adapt to the new trends in the evolution of international economic and trade rules.Firstly,we should comprehensively lead the integration of economic cooperation in neighboring regions and create new rules for regional economic and trade development.Secondly,we must promote multilateral trade negotiations within the WTO framework.Thirdly,we should actively participate in international trade in services formulation.
