This particular study is among the foremost to carry out an in-depth analysis on the nexus between enterprise networks and sustainable enterprise performance of companies. The enterprise networks is a comprehensive business network of many enterprises that works together to accomplish a set of objectives. The major categories of enterprise network are aggregation/ collaboration and connection of businesses. These enhance enterprises to grow their business dynamism, innovation and competition. The enterprise network is a form of networking that gives room for building business relationships among several companies. This will then enhance the sharing of needed information, identification and development of economic opportunities, and collaborating as business partners, which tend towards realizing dynamic capacities such that enterprise will have the ability to methodically solve the challenges associated with the capacity to predict strengths and threats, and be positive about its in-house factors for the purpose of establishing efficient market decisions to transform its resource base.Nonetheless, limited studies have been carried out to x-ray the connection between enterprise network and Company performance in the Nigerian context. This study investigates the mediation of dynamic capacities on the connection between enterprise network and enterprise performance using some food and beverages enterprises in Lagos,Nigeria. This study adopted stakeholder's theory to conceptualize and marry the enterprise network and Company performance.Primary data was achieved with questionnaire which was targeted at six hundred and fiftyseven(657)respondents(middle and top-level management staff of six food enterprises and beverage enterprises)through a purposive sampling technique, from which five hundred and thirty-nine(539)responses were validated for analysis. The structure of questionnaire was validated through a pilot study targeted at ten(10)percent of the sample size.Primary data was used to achieve descriptive and inferential statistics. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS)version 20 was used alongside Excel(Window 10)to code, compute, and process the data to derive descriptive and inferential results. Also,Lisrel version 8.70 was adopted to compute Structural Equation Model(SEM).Findings indicated a significant positive relationship between Product Innovation capacity and sales growth capacity(r = 0.840,at p 0.000 < 0.01),and a positive and significant influence of strategic decision-making on enterprises survival(r= 0.803,p 0.000 < 0.05,R2 = 0.644).The result affirmed a positive significance influence of technological capacity on enterprise efficiency(r= 0.288,p 0.000 < 0.05,R2 = 0.083).Also,there is a significant positive relationship between strategic flexibility capacity and competitive advantage(r = 0.866,p0.000 < 0.01),and a significant positive influence of competitive intensity on enterprise survival(r= 0.953 p 0.000 < 0.05,R2 = 0.908).The complex nature of technology has a significant positive influence on enterprise survival(r= 0.927 p 0.000 < 0.05,R2 = 0.859).Furthermore,the findings revealed that the major dynamics mediating between enterprise network and Company performance are Strategic Decision-Making Capacity(SDMC),Technological Capacity(TC),Efficiency Enterprise Capacity(EEC),and Complexity in Technology or Technological Turbulence(TT).Moreover,SEM revealed that product innovation is the sole variable that can sufficiently enhance increasing sales growth;Competitive intensity and Technological turbulence are the sole variables that can sufficiently enhance the enterprise survival or sustain the enterprise into the unforeseeable future;Technological capability and Competitive intensity are the sole variables that could enhance the enterprise efficiency;and Strategic flexibility is the sole variable that could sufficiently enhance competitive advantage of enterprise over other enterprises.Findings also revealed that competitive intensity has positive significance on product innovation at(0.39;t = 5.69,p <0.05).Finally,the survival of enterprise is highly dependent on competitive intensity and complex nature of technology. As competitive intensity is a necessary inducement for product innovation, the food and beverage enterprises should concentrate more on product innovation so that they will be able to stand the intensity of competition. The result emanated from the study is germane as it makes significant contribution to literature and the body of knowledge and on strategic management.
