At present,the spatial structure of China’s economic development is undergoing profound changes,and central cities and urban agglomerations are becoming the main spatial forms bearing development factors.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the spatial economic relations within urban agglomerations.The rapid development of digital economy characterized by the application of information and communication technology has increasingly become an important driving force for economic growth and industrial transformation and upgrading.It has profoundly changed the way of production,lifestyle and social resources allocation.Domestic cities compete to develop digital economy and become the background of studying the spatial economic ties of urban agglomeration.Digital economy era,the real-time exchange of data and information has become a reality.The rapid flow of information elements enhances the spatial mobility of elements,weakens the role of geographical space in the traditional sense,and expands the information space.The form and efficiency of information flow,capital flow,human flow,and logistics are changed.And the digital economy has a significant impact on the spatial and economic links between cities and urban agglomerations.However,how to measure the development level of urban agglomeration and urban digital economy? What impact does it have on the total factor productivity of urban agglomeration and urban spatial economic connection within urban agglomeration?What is the difference between different cities and urban agglomerations? These are practical and theoretical problems that need scientific analysis and in-depth study.Based on this,this paper through the combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis,combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,using the entropy method,the DEA-Malmquist index method,panel econometric methods,social network analysis method,comparative analysis and other methods,focusing on the study and answer questions on the following four aspects: one is the urban agglomeration digital economy development level and the calculation of total factor productivity;Second,the influence of digital economy on total factor productivity of urban agglomeration;Third,the status quo of spatial economic relations and social network effect of urban agglomeration under the background of digital economy;Fourth,the spillover effect of digital economy on urban spatial economic relations in urban agglomeration.In this paper,a total of six urban agglomerations in the eastern,central and western regions are selected for in-depth study and comparative analysis,including the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration in the relatively developed eastern region,as well as the central plains urban agglomeration,Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and Guan Zhong Plain urban agglomeration in the central and western regions.The development level and foundation of digital economy in these urban agglomerations are different.Taking this as the research object is conducive to an objective and accurate understanding of the influence of digital economy on the spatial economic connection of urban agglomerations in different regions of China,a comprehensive understanding of the law of digital economy affecting the spatial economic connection of urban agglomerations,and better guidance of practice.From the perspective of digital economy,this paper makes a systematic analysis on the influence of urban spatial economic connection in urban agglomeration.The main research contents are as follows.This paper is divided into 9 chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research ideas,research contents,research methods,main innovations and shortcomings of the paper.Chapter 2 elaborates the concept,connotation and characteristics of digital economy,urban agglomeration and spatial economic connection of urban agglomeration,and systematically sorts out and analyzes relevant research literatures.Chapter 3 systematically sorts out the related theories of spatial connection,location theory,Marxist urban space theory and the theoretical analysis framework of this paper.Chapter 4 measured the digital economy index of106 prefecture-level cities in six urban agglomerations from 2007 to 2016 respectively through entropy method,made dynamic comparison of the development of urban digital economy in urban agglomerations,and used Arcgis12 software for visual processing to comprehensively reflect the development level and spatial-temporal characteristics of digital economy in urban agglomerations.In chapter 5,the total factor productivity and its decomposition of106 prefecture-level cities in six urban agglomerations were measured by DEA Malmquist index method,and the temporal and spatial characteristics of TFP of different urban agglomerations and inner cities were analyzed.In chapter 6,Tobit model regression is used to analyze the influence of urban agglomeration digital economy on total factor productivity.Chapter 7 between two cities of urban agglomeration-based attention characterization of traffic data,using social network analysis method to study six the actuality of internal urban spatial economic ties and network effects,through correlation analysis and regression analysis to study the urban internal economic links space and time characteristics and influencing factors of city space.Chapter 8 uses spatial analysis method to study the global and local spatial autocorrelation of six urban agglomerations,and uses spatial panel econometric model to empirically analyze the spatial correlation and spillover effect between urban digital economy and economic growth in urban agglomerations.Chapter 9 summarizes and raise relevant policy recommendations.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: first,the development level of digital economy in the six major urban agglomerations is different from horizontal and fluctuates from vertical,and the development level of digital economy in the cities within the urban agglomerations is different from each other.Second,the overall improvement of total factor productivity in urban agglomerations is mainly due to the improvement of technological efficiency,and secondly to technological progress.Thirdly,digital economy has a significant positive impact on the total factor productivity and technological progress of urban agglomeration at the level of 1%,and a significant negative impact on technological efficiency at the level of 10%,and the total factor productivity of most cities has been improved.Fourth,the baidu index center degree of node cities in each city cluster is increasing,and the urban network is multi-center or single-center.The correlation degree of urban agglomeration has been greatly improved,and the economic connection based on information flow between node cities has been gradually enhanced.The inner cities of the urban agglomeration based on baidu index are getting closer and stronger.Fifth,the influence factors of spatial economic relations among different urban agglomerations are not the same.Sixth,the economic growth of urban agglomeration shows significant positive spatial correlation,and the overall spatial correlation of urban agglomeration is closely related to the local spatial correlation.Urban agglomeration has spatial heterogeneity,but the spatial agglomeration of urban agglomeration is relatively stable.Seventh,digital economy has positive and significant influence on spatial spillover effect of urban agglomeration economic growth.This paper makes the following contributions in studying the influence of digital economy on spatial economic relations of urban agglomeration.The first is to bring digital economy into the research perspective of spatial economic connection of urban agglomeration.Different from some urban agglomeration spatial contact or pure literature research from the national and provincial level research digital economy,this paper is based on digital economy era background,selection of eastern,central and western three areas six urban agglomeration,a total of 106 administrative data samples,the empirical analysis of digital economy of urban agglomeration TFP and spatial spillover effect,the influence of the network effect,for the digital economy,urban agglomeration spatial connection and new economic geography and crossover study provides a new perspective.Second,it provides a measurement reference for the development level of urban agglomeration and urban digital economy,and verifies the hypothesis that digital economy will improve the total factor productivity of urban agglomeration.According to the existing literature and research,there are few studies on the measurement of the development level of digital economy in urban agglomerations.However,with the rapid development of digital economy and the deepening influence on urban agglomerations,it is extremely necessary to study and answer this question.This paper do some work in this aspect,using entropy method to calculate analyzed 2007-2016 older river delta urban agglomeration,beijing-tianjin-hebei urban agglomeration,the pearl river delta urban agglomeration,zhongyuan urban agglomeration,chengdu-chongqing urban agglomeration and urban agglomerations in guanzhong plain,106 level digital economy index,rankings and the characteristics of the time-space distribution for the study of urban agglomeration and urban digital reference measure level of economic development;Dea-malmquist index method was used to calculate the total factor productivity of 106 prefectural-level cities in the six major urban agglomerations,and Tobit model was used to test the influence of digital economy on TFP and TE and EFF of decomposition technology progress of total factor productivity in urban agglomerations.The results showed that digital economy was beneficial to the improvement of total factor productivity in urban agglomerations.Third,it presents the spatial economic relations and influencing factors between cities in urban agglomeration under the background of digital economy.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the spatial economic relations and influencing factors between cities in urban agglomerations under the background of digital economy from the aspects of the influence of digital economy on total factor productivity of urban agglomerations,the spatial spillover effect on economic growth of urban agglomerations,and the spatial economic relations characteristics and network effects of urban agglomerations based on baidu index.Especially based on baidu index representation of flow data,using social network analysis method on the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration,beijing-tianjin-hebei urban agglomeration,the pearl river delta urban agglomeration,zhongyuan urban agglomeration,chengdu-chongqing urban agglomeration and urban agglomeration spatial connection and the network effect of the guanzhong plain has carried on the empirical analysis,and using software and QAP Ucinet6 six urban agglomeration based on correlation analysis respectively on baidu index according to the urban space contact QAP correlation matrix and the influencing factors of matrix,and use the QAP regression analysis the influence factors of urban agglomeration spatial contact.Fourth,it provides theoretical basis and reference for different regions and urban agglomerations to develop digital economy and strengthen spatial connection of urban agglomerations.Introduced in this paper under the background of space factors on the digital economy make an empirical analysis of the urban agglomeration spatial economic ties,by utilizing the method of spatial analysis and spatial econometric model empirical analysis on the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration,the beijing-tianjin-hebei urban agglomeration,the pearl river delta urban agglomeration,zhongyuan urban agglomeration,the space of chengdu-chongqing urban agglomeration and urban agglomerations in guanzhong plain,tested the six urban agglomeration global spatial autocorrelation and local spatial autocorrelation and the condition of the six big city city digital economy and the spatial correlation and spillover effect of economic growth.
