The transportation hub is an important part of the transportation network. As hub node and passenger and cargo flow distribution center of the transportation network, transportation hub has a profound impact on regional economic development. Many famous cities in the world are important transportation hubs.Since the reform and opening up,many coastal ports and inland transportation hubs in China have made great progress by virtue of the regional advantages. The government departments have also paid more attention to the construction and development of the transportation hubs. The recently published "one way","integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" National strategies are proposed to build a modern integrated transport hub. However, there are still many problems in the development of China's transportation hub at this stage. In particular, many transportation hubs have obvious air-suction effect on the surrounding areas, which exacerbates the imbalance of regional economic development, such as the "poverty belt around the capital".Since Chinese government pay more and more attention to the coordinated development of regional economy, what is the mechanism and the path of the spatial spillover mechanism of the hub of the regional economic development? What is the direction and influence of the spatial spillover effect of China's transportation hub?To explore the above issues for the use of transport hub to lead China's regional economic development has great significance.By analyzing the relevant literature at home and abroad, found that the above issues still need to be further studied.First, the research on the relationship between transportation and economic development is more, but the research on the transportation hub and its spatial spillover effect is less.Secondly, the research on the influence of transportation hub on regional economic development mostly focuses on the relationship between transportation and economic development.Qualitative analysis and case study, the lack of quantitative evidence of the spatial spillover effect of transportation hubs. Finally, the difference between China's transportation hubs on regional economic development is becoming more and more obvious. The relevant theoretical and empirical research is not enough to study the actual situation in China, and it can't support the scientific development of traffic policy And reasonable implementation. This paper summarizes the characteristics, trends, spatial distribution and its influence on the regional economic development of China's transportation hub through the analysis of the development course, current situation and the traffic hub of the typical transportation hub in China.Based on the basic research paradigm, theoretical combing and model of agglomeration economic theory and economic geography theory. This paper explains the mechanism of traffic hub's influence on regional economic development through direct effect and indirect effect, and analyzes the dynamic trend of spatial spillover effect of traffic hub,"Transmission Hub Comprehensive Performance?Economic Activity Impact-Agglomeration and Diffusion Effect-Space Spillover Effect".The theoretical analysis shows that the improvement of the comprehensive performance of the transportation hub can improve the efficiency of the traffic network, increase the traffic location advantage, change the regional spatial form, and thus have a direct impact on the spatial spillover effect. Those changes will produce agglomeration effect and diffusion Effect, which indirectly affects the spillover effect, and the spatial spillover effect will further affect the regional economic development. The continuous development of the regional economy puts forward new requirements for the comprehensive performance of the transportation hub. This demand will lead to the improvement of the performance of the transportation hub,Resulting in the traffic hub space spillover effect of the cycle of strengthening mechanism.Based on the mechanism and conduction path of the spillover effect of the transportation hub, this paper investigates the spatial spillover effect from the aspects of economic output and labor productivity, and constructs the measurement model of the space spillover effect of the traffic hub.By using the spatial measurement method,China's prefecture level and above the city's panel data for empirical testing. On the basis of the empirical results at the national level,in order to obtain a more comprehensive and comprehensive conclusion, the classification of the three industries was further divided according to the division of the eastern, central and western regions. The main conclusions of this paper can summarized as follows:(1)The development process and the status quo analysis of the conclusions show that China's transport hub has been scattered from the ancient distribution of the ancient transport hub gradually developed into a modern system of transport hub.The dominant driving force gradually changed from the geographical conditions and political status to traffic conditions and economic level.China's transport hub changed from the single traffic mode of the transport hub gradually developed into an integrated transport hub.China's transport hub gradually evolved from point-like development to point to the surface of the comprehensive development of the network.China's transport hub at this stage of the spatial distribution of significant spatial correlation. The transportation hubs are concentrated in the eastern coastal areas, and the development level of the hubs in the central and western regions is increasing day by day.The overall spatial distribution is becoming more and more balanced. The traffic network structure, the proportion of different transportation hubs, and the traffic links between the non-core transportation hubs spillover effects of traffic hubs in different regions.(2)The conclusion of theoretical analysis shows that most of the traffic hub has higher market potential than the surrounding area, and it is easier to form a city in the transportation hub.The rapid development of the transportation hub may slow down the development of the surrounding area. The development period of the transportation hub can be divided into the initial period, the agglomeration period, the expansion period and the mature period. With the development of the transportation hub,the development of the transportation hub can be divided into the initial period, the agglomeration period, the diffusion period and the mature period. With the development of the transportation hub,The spatial spillover effect will show the change rule of "agglomeration-diffusion-dynamic equilibrium".(3)Empirical research on economic output shows that different levels of transportation hubs in China have significant spatial spillover effects on the economic output of the surrounding areas, and the most significant is about 200 km.From the spatial spillover effect It is obvious that the national hubs are slightly larger than the regional traffic hubs, both of which are obviously larger than the regional traffic hubs. The spatial spillover effects of the eastern, central and western transportation hubs are obviously different. There are significant positive spaces in the various transportation hubs in the eastern region Spillover effect, especially the spatial spillover effect of the national transportation hub is obvious. The spatial spillover effect of the central region is the most obvious regional traffic hub.The spatial spillover effect of the national and regional transportation hub in the western region is not significant. The transport hub has even negative spatial spillover effects.(4)The empirical study on labor productivity shows that there are significant differences in the impact of different transportation hubs on local labor productivity. The national hub has only a significant positive impact on the tertiary industry and has no significant impact on the secondary industry,Regional hubs and regional hubs have a significant positive impact on the labor productivity of all industries.National hubs and regional hubs have significant positive spatial spillover effects on the surrounding areas, but the spatial spillover effects are both mainly in the secondary industry. No significant impact on the tertiary industry, the regional hub for the surrounding areas of the secondary and tertiary industry labor productivity has a significant positive spillover effect;from the size of the spillover effect, the national The gap between the hub and the regional hub has little difference, but it is higher than the regional traffic hub.The contribution of this paper is mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1)Put traffic network efficiency, location advantages, regional spatial form into the theoretical analysis and combine the transport hub spillover effect mechanism.Established the transmission path of "transmission hub comprehensive performance-the impact of economic activities-agglomeration and diffusion effect-space spillover effect".Then analyzes the dynamic change trend of the spatial spillover effect of the transportation hub.And how the improvement of the comprehensive performance of the transportation hub directly and indirectly affects the spatial spillover effect.Supplementing the theory of agglomeration economy and economic geography theory and so on.(2)Based on the analysis of the development process, current situation and typical regional transportation hub of China's transportation hub, this paper summarizes the development characteristics, trends and spatial distribution of China's transportation hub, analyzes the traffic network structure, the proportion of different transportation hubs,Transportation hub between the traffic connection for the regional economic development.(3)The measurement model of spatial spillover effect of traffic hub is constructed, and the spatial measurement method is used to study the economic output and labor productivity. The spatial distribution of regional traffic hub, regional transportation hub and regional transportation hub is analyzed. The effect of the direction and impact of the intensity of the development of differentiated traffic development policy to provide the basis.
