The manufacturing industry is the foundation and pillar of the national economy.With China's economic development entering a new era and the full implementation of innovation-driven development strategies,the quality of manufacturing green transformation has gradually become one of the important basis for measuring the level of China's economic development.As a large manufacturing country,the traditional extensive development model of high energy consumption and low efficiency in China's manufacturing industry has not only caused serious ecological and environmental problems,but also restricted the sustained and high-quality economic development.In an environment where the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation are closely intertwined with China's economic transformation and development,technological innovation driving the green transformation of manufacturing is an important means to achieve high-quality economic development in China and improve international competitiveness.Based on this,this dissertation takes the green transformation of China's manufacturing industry as the theme,focuses on industries,regions,and strategic industries to explore the impact of technological innovation on the green transformation of manufacturing and the spatial linkage effect.Look for a powerful way to accelerate the green transformation of the manufacturing industry to achieve high-quality economic development and improve international competitiveness.On the basis of reviewing and summarizing related theoretical research,this dissertation analyzes the internal development characteristics and external development environment of the manufacturing industry,and studies the driving effect,dynamic impact and spatial linkage of technological innovation on the green transformation of manufacturing.And from the dimensions of manufacturing total factor productivity and energy saving are deeply revealed the driving mechanism and effect of technological innovation on the green transformation of manufacturing industry.Combined with the empirical results,this dissertation puts forward relevant policy recommendations that are conducive to promoting the green transformation of manufacturing industry.The main research contents and innovations of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Analysis of the driving effect and static impact of technological innovation on the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.Based on the research perspective of the heterogeneity of manufacturing industry development,the Slack Based Measure Undesirable-Malmquist-Tobit comprehensive evaluation method is constructed,and the impact of technological innovation on the green transformation of manufacturing industry are proposed.According to the intensity of environmental pollution,the manufacturing industry is divided into clean,moderately polluting and heavily polluting industries.The Slack Based Measure Undesirable model is used to measure and analyze the green development efficiency of manufacturing sub-industries.The Malmquist index model measures the total factor productivity of manufacturing subsectors,and analyzes the technological change rate of the manufacturing industry and the rationality of resource allocation.Based on Porter's hypothesis,by constructing a static panel model,it explores the interaction mechanism between environmental regulation and technological innovation in the context of governance transformation,and proposes the heterogeneity of its compound promotion effect on the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.This study found that the green development efficiency of the manufacturing cleaning industry is the highest,followed by the heavy pollution industry,and the medium pollution industry has the lowest efficiency.There is industry heterogeneity of the Porter hypothesis.(2)The dynamic impact and potential analysis of technological innovation on the green transformation of manufacturing industry.Based on the dynamic research perspective,the internal mechanism of energy savings and green transformation of manufacturing industry is discussed.By constructing a dynamic panel model,while introducing macroeconomic variables,the impact mechanism of technological innovation on energy conservation and consumption reduction in manufacturing is proposed,and the effect and difference of different influencing factors on energy consumption in manufacturing are investigated.On this basis,the scenario analysis and Block bootstrap are combined to construct a moderate scenario and an advanced scenario.From the perspective of time dynamic research,it predicts the space and green development potential of energy consumption and energy saving of the manufacturing industry.This study found that under the moderate scenario,energy consumption in2020 and 2025 will be reduced by 343.91 Mtce and 940.17 Mtce respectively compared with the business as usual scenario.Under the advanced scenario,energy consumption in 2020 and 2025 will be reduced by 427.53 Mtce and 1066.28 Mtce respectively compared with the business as usual scenario.(3)Research on the spatial linkage effect of technological innovation and green transformation of manufacturing industry.Based on the research perspective of efficiency measurement,by constructing a spatial Dubin model,the spatial linkage effect of technological innovation and green transformation of manufacturing industry is analyzed.Using the related innovation value chain theory,the manufacturing technology innovation activities are divided into the technology innovation stage and the economic transformation stage,and the efficiency evaluation method of the manufacturing technology innovation value chain based on the network Slack Based Measure model is proposed.Then use the Global Malmquist Luenberger index model to study the manufacturing green total factor productivity,evolution trend and regional development heterogeneity.It also explored the impact of technological innovation,advanced industrial structure,informatization,marketization and other factors on green total factor productivity and the spatial linkage of the green transformation of manufacturing.Studies have found that the efficiency of the technology innovation is higher than the efficiency of economic transformation.During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period,the efficiency gap of the technological innovation value chain between the northeast,central,western and eastern regions has been narrowing.The development of green total factor productivity in the eastern region is relatively stable,while fluctuations in other regions are more obvious.The spatial linkage effect of the green transformation of the manufacturing industry is significant.Based on the in-depth study of the impact of technological innovation on the green transformation of the manufacturing industry and the spatial linkage effect by industry,stage and region,this dissertation puts forward relevant policy recommendations for the construction of the green coordinated development capacity of China's manufacturing industry:(1)For heavily polluting industries,the government should strengthen technological innovation capabilities,moderately weaken environmental supervision,and avoid crowding effects.Moderately polluting industries and clean industries should appropriately strengthen environmental regulations while improving technological innovation capabilities.(2)The government should continue to increase the intensity of R&D funding,optimize the investment structure,continue to optimize the industrial structure and the modern economic development system.Deepen energy price reform,reduce energy consumption,and promote high-quality and stable economic development.(3)Deepen the supply-side structural reforms,improve the trading mechanism of intellectual property and scientific and technological achievements,improve the conversion efficiency,and promote the advanced industrial structure as well as.Build a moderately balanced new urban spatial layout,strengthen the coordinated and integrated development of informatization and marketization among regions,and further improve the ability of space governance.
