| Based on the fact that China's economy has entered a stage of high-quality development,there is an urgent need for transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade.In the implementation of high-quality economic development,China takes the deepening of supply-side structural reforms as the main line,and transportation,as an important link between supply and demand,plays an important role in improving the efficiency of supply and demand matching and improving the quality of the supply system.In order to strengthen the supporting and leading role of transportation in the modern economic system,the important task at this stage is to further promote the construction of a strong transportation country.At the same time,based on the development goal of a strong transportation country,China' transportation infrastructure development will usher in a more precious "golden age".As an important part of the modern economic system,the modern industrial system is also the key to promoting high-quality economic development.The construction of a modern industrial system focuses on adjusting the industrial structure,and promotes the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure through supply-side structural reforms,transformation and upgrade of traditional industries,and innovation to lead the development of new industries,so as to realize the leap from the low-end of the value chain to the high-end of China's industry.The Belt and Road initiative not only can effectively promote the investment and construction of transportation infrastructure,but also brings new development opportunities for the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure.At the theoretical level,there is a certain interaction between the development of transportation infrastructure and the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure.On the theoretical level,there is a certain interaction between the development of transportation infrastructure and the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure.Therefore,from an empirical point of view,explore the interaction and mechanism between transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade,and test the impact of the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative on the mechanism between the two,which has a positive impact on the promotion of China's economy.Based on this,the general objectives of this article are: First,to measure the level of investment in transportation infrastructure and measure the status of industrial structure transformation and upgrade,and to test the impact of the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative on transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade.Second,to examine the short-term and long-term interactive relationship between transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade from a dynamic perspective.Third,based on the discussion of the interactive relationship between transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade,theoretical analysis and empirical testing of the interaction mechanism between the two,and examining the impact of the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative on the mechanism between the two.The main research work and important conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Evaluation of the policy impact of the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative.This part of the content first used the RAM model to measure the level of investment in transportation infrastructure,and measured the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure from two dimensions: the level of industrial structure advancement and the level of industrial structure rationalization.Secondly,through theoretical analysis,it was assumed that the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative would actively promote the improvement of transportation infrastructure investment and the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure in the areas along the route.Then,the DID model was used to empirically test the above hypotheses,and the results proved the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative has significantly promoted the improvement of the level of investment in transportation infrastructure in the areas along the route of China,and the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative is mainly to significantly promote the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure by increasing the level of advanced industrial structure.(2)Analysis of the interactive relationship between transportation infrastructure investment and industrial structure transformation and upgrade.This part of the content is mainly based on the measured transportation infrastructure investment level and the status of industrial structure transformation and upgrade,using the PVAR model to investigate whether there is an interactive relationship between the two in the short and long term from a dynamic perspective.Based on industrial structure transformation and upgrade,it was considered from the two dimensions of industrial structure advancement and industrial structure rationalization.At the same time,combined with the analysis results of short-term and long-term interactions,the results showed that the transportation infrastructure investment and the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure under the national sample were significant mutual promotion relationship,and the results were heterogeneous in different regions.The transportation infrastructure investment in the sample of the eastern region did not significantly promote the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure.On the contrary,the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure could significantly promote the improvement of the level of investment in transportation infrastructure;There was a significant mutual promotion relationship between transportation infrastructure investment and transformation and upgrade of industrial structure in the samples of central and western regions.(3)Analysis of the mechanism of transportation infrastructure investment on the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure.The content of this part first assumed that transportation infrastructure investment could indirectly promote the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure through three functional paths of expanding market demand,improving resource misallocation,and carrying out technological innovation from the perspective of rational flow of production factors and optimal allocation of resource factors based on theoretical analysis.Then used the mediation model to empirically test the above mechanism.The conclusions obtained were different from the theoretical analysis.In reality,transportation infrastructure investment can promote the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure by expanding market demand and technological innovation,but it cannot be improved by improving resources misallocation;secondly,through theoretical analysis,it was assumed that the path through which transportation infrastructure investment affectd the three intermediary variables of market demand,resource allocation and technological innovation would be positively regulated by the Belt and Road initiative.The moderated mediation model was used to conduct empirical testing and demonstrate the above hypothesis.(4)Analysis of the mechanism of the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure on transportation infrastructure investment.This part of the content first assumed that the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure could indirectly promote the improvement of the investment level of transportation infrastructure through the action path of the adjustment of the transportation structure from the perspective of changes in transportation demand based on theoretical analysis,and then used the mediation model to conduct empirical testing and demonstrate the above mechanism of action;secondly,through theoretical analysis,it was assumed that the path through which the transformation and upgrade of the industrial structure affected the intermediary variables of the adjustment of transportation structure was positively regulated by the Belt and Road initiative,and then the moderated mediation model was used for testing and demonstrating the above hypothesis.Based on the conclusions of the research,this article proposed how to further strengthen the promotion effect of transportation infrastructure investment level and the promotion effect of industrial structure transformation and upgrade of the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative;how to proactively adapt to changes in market demand,improve resource misallocation,and strengthen technology Innovation;how to optimize China's transportation structure from the perspective of the supply side based on the requirements of industrial structure transformation and upgrade. |
