| Through the Belt and Road Initiative,China hopes to promote the orderly and free flow of economic factors, efficient allocation of resources and deep integration of markets, and also promote economic policy coordination among countries along the routes.Laos and other countries along the routes have huge needs for infrastructure construction. At the same time, its own financial environment and conditions are not enough to support the large-scale construction and upgrading of its own infrastructure, which together constitute the background of this paper. With the help of the overall framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, more investment is introduced to upgrade and optimize the industrial structure, thus injecting stronger impetus into the development of the Lao national economy. This is the ultimate goal and motive for Laos to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative.Since the Belt and Road Initiative itself is based on China's own economic needs and is strongly promoted by government policies. The scope of cooperation policies includes financial area. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen policy coordination with relevant countries. At present, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, which can provide financial assistance to Laos, can help Laos obtain public financial support. The multilateral financial cooperation organization can help Laos solve the problem of the main body of operation of large-scale infrastructure projects, guide private enterprises to participate in the construction of infrastructure in Laos, and evade the influence of national sovereignty and ethnic psychological factors. However, the investment fund can better ensure the Lao PDR's ability to upgrade its infrastructure and strengthen its foreign trade and economic ties in terms of the purpose of investment and the adequacy of its sources of funding. |
