| In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China has made remarkable achievements in the construction of the five-in-one political,economic,social,cultural and ecological in the process of advancing the modernization of socialism with characteristics.China's economic development needs to be transformed from a high-speed to a high-quality economy because the extensive economic model that supported development in the past and the economic model driven by demographic dividends and resource factors are unsustainable.When implementing the spirit of the19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and ushering in a new era of national development,research on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is of great practical significance.The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most open and economically vigorous regions in China.It is one of the major national development strategies and plays an important strategic significance in national development.It studies the economic efficiency and regional development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region.The process is of great significance.Therefore,based on the regional-urban multi-level perspective,this article summarizes relevant theories and literature at home and abroad,constructs a theoretical analysis framework,and then uses principal component analysis,data envelopment analysis,and spatial analysis models,from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.Analyze the economic efficiency of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and its influencing factors,and propose paths and policy recommendations to promote regional economic efficiency.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)By analyzing the status quo of economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,a basic understanding of the conditions for economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has been formed,laying a foundation for subsequent empirical analysis.The analysis in this paper finds that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has advantages such as superior geographical location,leading economic development and openness,strong education and scientific research,complete infrastructure and transportation systems,and profound historical background.And the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has different legal and regulatory systems,restrictions on the flow of goods,the financial and trade environment needs to be strengthened,personnel information communication barriers,and the development environment of the Bay Area needs to be improved.It is faced with development opportunities such as national strategic support and multi-regional superimposed support,forward-looking planning layout,mechanism and system innovation,and cooperation and coordination in key areas.At the same time,it is also faced with uneven regional development,large gaps in urban integration,and urgent need for optimization and protection of the ecological environment,challenges in mechanism and system development,and innovation Coordinated development challenges.The strong competitive advantage of the Greater Bay Area is a prerequisite for the development of its economic efficiency.Its institutional barriers have hindered the improvement of regional economic efficiency.Its policies,opportunities,strategies,etc.all provide good economic efficiency for the Greater Bay Area.Unbalanced development,regional urban integration,regional ecological foundation,mechanism and system,innovation environment and other challenges are key breakthroughs for regional economic efficiency improvement.The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area should,based on the analysis of the current situation,give full play to its advantages,make up for its disadvantages,seize opportunities and meet challenges,and promote regional economic transformation and development.(2)From the perspective of urban efficiency in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,the economic efficiency gap in the region is large,the development is uneven,and the overall average level is low.According to the results of efficiency analysis through the indicator system,the economic efficiency of the scientific research innovation dimension DEA is in an effective state,and investment in scientific research,education,etc.can promote the improvement of the efficiency of cities and the entire region in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area;efficiency is improved in terms of basic dimensions.The degree of influence is not large.The development and innovation investment of each city has a promoting effect on the efficiency of economic development,and has a promoting effect on the improvement of technical efficiency,configuration efficiency and scale efficiency.(3)From the perspective of the economic development model of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,many factors such as capital and labor input,energy input and other factors have driven economic growth,while foreign investment,college students,and the proportion of secondary industries have nagtive impact on economic development.The results provide us with an important reference for clarifying input and output factors and conducting principal component evaluation.In addition,we have also carried out a nonlinear expansion of this influence mechanism.The results show that innovation input is the mean threshold for the current economic growth of the Greater Bay Area.However,most cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have entered a bottleneck stage,which means the government should pay attention to adjust the development model,so that obtain considerable space for growth.(4)Incorporate the innovation capability dimension and the external economic dimension into the monetary efficiency evaluation indicators,and comprehensively measure as well as evaluate the economic efficiency of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.From the perspective of the overall economic efficiency evaluation of the region,the economic efficiency of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is relatively high,and the fluctuations tend to be flattened;from the urban dimension within the region,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has formed the core of Shenzhen and Hong Kong,with other cities following.Finally,from the perspective of spatial economic efficiency evaluation,the economic development of cities in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao is quite different and unbalanced,which means model adjustments are still needed if the area wants to obtain higher economic scale.(5)Innovation is the core factor affecting the economic efficiency of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.This is reflected in the fact that innovation investment is a vital variable to promote economic efficiency progress,but the structural proportion of innovation investment in regional development has a very strong negative Effect,which means that to maintain a stable and innovative growth model is particularly important.Combining with the existing imbalance and insufficient development of the Greater Bay Area,cities with a lower degree of development account are the majority,and these cities are easily disturbed by various economic factors.Policy assistance should be paid for them to promote cooperation with higher-level cities.Through complementary advantages and resource allocation,these cities may form a benign mode of efficient coordinated growth.(6)Through the analysis of this article,it can be seen that the urban development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is not sufficiently developed,the division of labor is not clear,the ecological environment needs to be further strengthened,and the industrial innovation system is inadequate.,Opening to the outside world and regional planning,etc.,to enhance the efficiency of the economic development of the Greater Bay Area by promoting coordinated regional development,improving the integrated guarantee system,advancing the pooling of talent and technological innovation,and promoting the entry of international financial capital.In summary,this article analyzes the regional economic development efficiency of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives,and has made innovations in research perspectives,research methods,research paradigms,etc.,especially the construction of a characteristic index system and time-space efficiency analysis.Literature review,relevant basic theories,analysis of the status quo of regional economic development,empirical research on economic efficiency,and reference to typical Bay Area development experience,etc.,and then put forward relevant suggestions on the economic development and efficiency improvement of the Bay Area,providing a research basis for the economic development of the Bay Area.Nevertheless,this research still lacks in data collection,empirical level,theoretical framework,etc.,and it still needs to be supplemented and improved continuously. |
