Study On The Spatial-temporal Differentiation And Driving Mechanism Of High-quality Economic Development In The Greater Bay Area Of Guangdong,Hong Kong And Macao

In the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is clearly stated that high-quality development is one of the essential requirements of Chinese-style modernization,and "high-quality development is the primary task of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way".In 2023,the Guangdong High Quality Conference proposed to realize Guangdong’s modernization with high quality development,implement the new development concept and promote high quality development.Therefore,the high-quality economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become a hot topic.The document is based on five main development ideas and establishes a system for assessing qualitative economic development based on five criteria of innovative development,green development,coordinated development,open development and joint development.Mass entropy was used to measure my high quality economic development of 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao from 2011 to 2020,and research experiments were conducted in three directions: First,the system averages,gini surface coefficients,ellipse of standard deviation,trend analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis,second,using the gravitational survey model,established a spatial link for high-quality economic development and analysed trends and networks of the spatial association for high-quality economic development in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.The level of integration of the six main variables,the level of integration,the level of human capital,the level of foreign investment,transport infrastructure,financial expenditures on environmental protection and investments in financial technologies have been tested using geographical indicators and coordinating or feedback factors conducive to high-quality economic development in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.And geographic gravity models are used to provide additional evidence.First,in the dimension of time,the quality of economic development has improved markedly over time,with a clear "Matthew effect";In terms of spatial dimension,it often has the structure "high in the north and low in the south,high in the east and low in the west";In terms of evolution in time and space,the spatial location of a high quality level of economic development is evident,with increasing spatial concentration levels showing distribution patterns in the north-west and south-east with a clear positive dispersion effect.Second,in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,where high-quality economic development is increasingly linked to the territorial dimension,cyberspace structures are gradually being transformed into decentralized and dense structures of "Multi-center linkage and sub-center coordination",with apparently "Core-half core-edge" structures.Third,in terms of volumes,human capital,foreign investment,transport infrastructure,environmental finance and investment in financial technologies,there is a significant positive impact on the improvement of the quality of economic development,and after the interaction,with a significant improvement as a result of transactions.Feedback varies greatly from city to city and from different factors in different regions.Finally,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions such as strengthening the core city’s radiation force,promoting regional coordinated development,increasing financial investment in science and technology,improving human capital level,improving transportation infrastructure,building an ecological civilization Bay area,strengthening the construction of "One Belt,One Road" and improving the level of foreign investment.
