In recent years,major traffic accidents occurred frequently in the section of highway tunnel,which jeopardized the people’s traffic safety.In addition,people put forward a higher demand for the driving environment,not only to ensure the safety of driving,but also to improve the driving comfort.Otherwise,tunnel lighting energy consumption is serious,and some places have emerged that turn off some light or even turn off all the light,which seriously affects driving safety.The tunnel side wall interior material as s part of the lighting environment inside the cave,it not only ensures driving safety,improves driving comfort,but also achieves energy saving by reflecting light to increase luminance.This paper takes interior materials as the research object,the illuminance is used as the evaluation index of driving safety,the brightness uniformity,pupil diameter and heart rate are used to evaluate the driving comfort.The paper through indoor model test and tunnel field test,the type,paving height and level of cleanness of interior material which impact on driving safety and comfort are studied.Based on the equivalent lighting concept,the energy-saving effect of the interior materials was analyzed with the help of the data of Yeyatang tunnel,and the mathematical model of the interior material engineering economics was established.The research results are conducive to improving the tunnel lighting environment,ensuring the driving safety inside the tunnel,and improving the driving comfort,which not only conforms to the national green lighting and sustainable development strategy,but also has significant social and economic benefits.The main conclusions and innovations of the paper are as follows:1.Under the lighting condition of energy storage reflective luminescent material,the average illuminance value of the tunnel pavement and wall surface is the highest,the fireproof coating is in the middle,and the cement mortar is the smallest.The paving height and level of cleanness of the interior materials are positively correlated with the average illuminance values of the tunnel pavement and wall surface,indicating that the larger the value,the better the driving safety in the tunnel.2.Through indoor model and on-site tunnel test,using brightness uniformity,pupil diameter,heart rate as evaluation indicators,it is concluded that the driver’s driving comfort in the tunnel is the best when using energy storage reflective luminescent materials on the side wall of the tunnel;fire prevention Coatings are second;cement mortar is the worst.The interior material paving height,level of cleanness and brightness uniformity are positively correlated,and the pupil diameter and heart rate are inversely related,indicating that the interior material paving height is high and the level of cleanness is high,the more conducive to improving the driving comfort in the tunnel.3.Combined with engineering investment and operating costs,the analysis suggested that the cleaning cycle threshold value of the interior materials of the tunnel side wall is recommended to be 0.6 level of cleanness;the recommended value of the interior material paving height of the tunnel entrance is 5 meters.4.The driving safety(illuminance)and the reflection coefficient of the interior material satisfy the exponential function,and the functional relationship is y=aebx;the paving height with the interior material meets the linear function,and the functional relationship is y=a+bx;and the level of cleanness with the interior material satisfies the quadratic equation of one variable,which The functional relationship is y=ax2+bx+c.The driving comfort(pupil diameter,heart rate,brightness uniformity)and the interior material reflection coefficient and smoothness satisfy the one-quadratic quadratic equation,and its functional relationship is y=ax2-bx+c;and the interior material paving height meets the power function,and the functional relationship is y=aInx+b.The main innovations of the paper are as follows:1.Based on the safety and comfort of driving in the tunnel,the threshold for cleaning the interior materials of the tunnel side walls is proposed for the first time.2.Revealed the influence law and internal influence mechanism of interior material pavement height on driving safety,and put forward the recommended value of interior material pavement height of tunnel entrance.3.For the first time,a mathematical model of interior materials(reflection coefficient,paving height,level of cleanness),driving safety(illuminance)and comfort(pupil diameter,heart rate,brightness uniformity)was established.
