The transportation industry is the foundation of the national economy, and a stable and efficient integrated transportation network is the basic framework for the development of the national economy. At present,China has shifted from the stage of high-speed development to high-quality development. As an important spatial framework to guide the green and intensive development of land space, the integrated transportation network urgently needs to change the current planning concepts and methods limited to the interior of the transportation system.Existing studies did not systematically and macroscopically addressed the issues related to the optimal design of integrated transportation networks for achieving sustainable development goals in an integrated transportation system species. Therefore, the research of this research is carried out from two problems:How to recognize and quantify the extensive impact of integrated transportation network on the environment systematically? How to adjust and optimize the integrated transportation network based on the characteristics and degree of its environment impact? In this regard, the research work of this research is as follows:(1)Focusing on the current development and challenges of integrated transportation network, this research expounds the contradiction and conflict between the development of integrated transportation network and ecological environment protection,as well as the limitations of the current research on the optimization design of transportation network, and puts forward the necessity of integrated transportation network optimization guided by sustainable development(2)Begin with carbon emission, one of the "sources" of environmental impact of transportation network, this research systematically recognized the material list of each subsystem of the integrated transportation network from material production and processing to construction stage, and makes a quantitative analysis on the carbon emission generated by each subsystem in the operation and management stage, and improves the specific evaluation method of carbon emission of the integrated transportation network.(3)From the perspective of the "receptor" of the environmental impact of the transportation network, that is,the spatial unit, this paper discusses the spatial heterogeneity of the impact of the development of the integrated transportation network on the ecological environment of different spatial units.By constructing the conceptual model of the spatio-temporal impact mechanism of integrated transportation network on ecological environment, the analysis framework and method of quantitati ve impact are proposed.(4)In order to coordinate the needs of transportation network development and ecological environment,a multi-objective comprehensive threedimensional transportation network optimization design model is proposed.(5)Taking the Guangdong,Fujian and Zhejiang coastal urban agglomeration as an example, based on the above research problems and methods, this paper discusses the construction, environmental impact and corresponding optimization strategies of the integrated transportation network of the rapidly developing urban agglomeration.According to the multi-objective optimization model,17 Pareto optimal solutions are finally obtained, which verifies the feasibility of the modelThe innovations of this research are summarized as follows:(1)From an interdisciplinary perspective,an evaluation system for the life cycle carbon emissions of regional integrated transportation network is proposed. The model can be applied to the life cycle carbon emissions research of spatial scale analysis.(2)A multi-objective integrated transportation network optimization design model based on the environmental impact process of "source-receptor" is proposed, which provides decision-making ideas and methods for the coordinated and integrated development of transportation, environment, social and economy.(3)The accessibility theory is introduced to improve the efficiency measurement method of the integrated transportation network, which increases the impact of the socio-economic dimension in the network efficiency index. Also, the chromosome translation method in the genetic algorithm is improved by the traffic mode grouping method, which effectively reduces the complexity of the optimal design of the regional integrated transportation network and improves the solution efficiency.
