With the development of economy,China has made great efforts to promote traffic construction in recent years.China,as a mountainous country,road tunnels accounted for one-third of the mileage of the road,the number of highway tunnels and mileage also increased significantly with the road construction.However,the rapid development of road tunnels,bringing convenient transportation,but also produce a lot of pollutant emissions,causing great damage to the environment.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to get to study the carbon emission characteristics and influence mechanism of tunnels to improve the carbon emission of tunnel traffic system and help to build green low-carbon transportation.Based on this goal,through data collection and analysis,the study of the whole life cycle perspective of the tunnel carbon emissions factors and characteristics.On this basis,carbon emission in highway tunnel was put forward the analysis and calculation method of the whole life cycle,and the long-term characteristics of carbon emissions in highway tunnels was studied.In order to the further study of short-term characteristics of traffic carbon emissions in highway tunnels,traffic simulation model VISSIM was combined with motor vehicle emission model MOVES,the simulation analysis of mobile source emissions in highway tunnels is carried out to obtain the short-term emission characteristics and impact mechanism of mobile sources during tunnel operation.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Based on the whole life cycle assessment,the factors affecting the carbon emissions of highway tunnels and the impact mechanism were obtained,and the carbon emission characteristics of highway tunnels were obtained.The highway tunnel is divided into three stages: planning and design,construction and operation,operation and maintenance.The carbon source of typical activities at different stages is analyzed,and the influence mechanism of emission source is studied.The comprehensive analysis shows that the carbon source of highway tunnel has three characteristics: concealment,extensibility,low carbon and safety balance.(2)A full life cycle of the road tunnel carbon emissions model was built.Respectively,the construction stage,operation stage,maintenance phase of the carbon emission sub-model was built.The typical carbon emission characteristics of each stage were studied.(3)Traffic simulation model and motor vehicle emission model was integrated..It shows that the carbon emissions from the road tunnel mobile source are affected by the basic conditions of the tunnel,the traffic flow of the motor vehicle,the speed of the motor vehicle,and the control measures of the tunnel and the corresponding influence laws.Then the opinions on the operation and management measures of the tunnel were put forward.Long-term characteristics of road tunnel carbon emissions based on full-life cycle,short-term characteristics of highway tunnel carbon emissions based on model integration simulation analysis,is of certain practical value to the entire tunnel traffic system covering the whole life cycle of low carbon construction and operation management.
