| Looking through the long history of the development of the air transportation industry,"people" are the most flexible, adaptable and fragile elements in the civil aviation transportation system, and are of great value to the smooth operation and orderly development of civil aviation transportation. From the Lufthansa flight 9525 crash to the successful handling of the Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8633 by the heroic crew of China’s civil aviation, from the first issue of the Aviation Human Factors Manual by the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO)to the "Crew Resource Management Training" advisory notice issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, countries around the world From the perspectives of social cognition, personality, safety culture, and organizational change, civil aviation authorities, operators, and scientific researchers are analyzing the psychological characteristics of pilots’ errors and their occurrence mechanisms, and at the same time, they are also identifying the protective factors and factors of flight safety. Its positive influence path.Psychological resilience is a protective individual characteristic and adaptation process that helps individuals improve their coping ability when facing negative events such as setbacks, adversities, and dangers, and avoid falling into psychological trauma and stress disorder.Focusing on the particularity of the flight working environment and the practical needs of normalization of civil aviation safety management during the new crown epidemic, psychological resilience is important for pilots to deal with challenging stressors in life and work, and for the civil transport aviation industry to achieve safe operations and continuous safe flights. The theoretical research and practical guiding significance.Based on this, this research is based on the actual situation of civil aviation flight work and the background of special occupational characteristics of pilots, constructs a theoretical system of airline pilots’ mental resilience, develops evaluation tools for civil aviation pilots’ mental resilience, and moves from what should be to reality, and further explores our civil aviation pilots. The current characteristics of psychological resilience reveal the mechanism of the impact of civil aviation pilots’ psychological resilience on flight safety behavior. The research content and conclusions are not only for the frontiers in aviation psychology research, but also for the core competence and professional adaptability psychological evaluation evidence. The construction of a pilot skills life-cycle management system based on input, characterized by covering the full elements and full cycle of daily flight training, and for the purpose of continuously improving the pilot’s ability to manage and control accident risks. This major reality needs to be responded to.Specific research ideas and content include:Study 1 is based on the definition and interpretation of psychological resilience related to disciplines such as psychology, sociology, and management, combined with the qualitative analysis results of semi-structured interviews, and proposes a theoretical model of psychological resilience of Chinese civil aviation pilots. The model includes three first-level categories: "situation awareness and risk decision-making","automated system manipulation","crew management and interpersonal interaction",as well as "risk perception","risk assessment","risk expectations",and "automated system awareness","Automated program operation","Automated attitude","Civil aviation crew leadership","Civil aviation crew cooperation" 8 secondary categories.Among them, the three main categories of "situational awareness and risk decision-making","automated system control",and "crew management and interpersonal interaction" are all directly related to the core category of civil aviation pilots’ mental resilience. At the same time,"situational awareness and risk decision-making" respectively influence "Automated system control" and "crew management and interpersonal interaction" are indirectly related to the mental toughness of civil aviation pilots.Study 2 According to the theoretical model proposed in Study 1,the corresponding test items were further compiled, and through repeated tests and revisions,a test scale suitable for the psychological resilience of Chinese civil aviation pilots was formed with3 factors and 12 items, and the measurement of the scale. The structure is basically consistent with the theoretical model of civil aviation pilots’ mental resilience, and the reliability and validity of the scale meets the basic requirements of psychometrics and meets the tool support needs of empirical research.Study 3 uses the evaluation tool formed in Study 2 and takes 514 Chinese civil aviation pilots as the research objects to study the current characteristics of the mental resilience of Chinese civil aviation pilots. While investigating the overall status of the sample’s mental resilience, the research further explores the characteristics and differences of the psychological resilience of different sample groups based on different demographic factors. The results show that,on the one hand,in the overall situation, the average scores of our civil aviation pilots in the three dimensions of mental resilience reached more than 10 points, exceeding the theoretical average of each dimension, indicating the overall level of development of our civil aviation pilots’ mental toughness It is ideal. At the same time, the average score of our civil aviation pilots on the dimension of "situational awareness and risk decision-making" is significantly higher than that of other dimensions, and the average score of the dimension of "crew management and interpersonal interaction" is significantly lower than that of other dimensions;on the other hand,In the analysis of the demographic variables of the psychological resilience of our civil aviation pilots, there are significant differences between the “crew leadership and interpersonal interaction” dimension in terms of job and regional variables. The specific manifestation is that the group of flight instructors is in the “crew leadership and interpersonal interaction” dimension. The scores on the "Interaction" dimension were significantly higher than the captain and co-pilot groups. The pilot groups from the Northwest and Northeast regions scored significantly higher on the "Crew Leadership and Interpersonal Interaction" dimension than the groups in other regions. At the same time, the dimensions of "situation awareness and risk decision-making","automated system control" and "crew management and interpersonal interaction" have significant differences in flight experience between groups, that is,pilot groups with cumulative flight hours of more than 5,000 hours are on the scale. The scores in all three dimensions are significantly higher than those of other groups with relatively poor flight experience.Based on the adjustment focus model and job requirements-resource model, the fourth study explores the impact of pilots’ psychological resilience on flight driving safety behavior through path analysis of 514 civil aviation pilots’ empirical survey data,as well as the perception of risk, professional mission, and organizational safety atmosphere. The mechanism of action in the relationship between the two.The results of the study show that pilots’ psychological resilience can promote safe flight driving behaviors by enhancing risk perception and professional mission;perception of organizational safety atmosphere positively regulates the mediating role of risk perception between psychological resilience and flight risk involvement. The research results not only enrich and expand the research on the effect of psychological resilience theoretically, but also have certain practical enlightenment for civil aviation flight safety management. |
