| As the first literary work in China,the Book of Songs has been recited through the ages;As a classic text,it has been Deeply studied by generations;As an encyclopedia,it reflects all aspects of social life from the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period,showing us the most authentic customs and human feelings,like a giant scroll.And such a picture scroll is displayed through clothing,vehicles,weapons,tools,musical instruments,eating utensils,buildings and other utensils and objects in the Book of Songs The search for this artifact is one of the research directions that has been lacking in the study of the Book of Songs for a long time,and it is also a textual study that has been neglected in traditional Chinese design studies.This paper takes the description of creations in the Book of Songs as the starting point,and breaks it up,collates,organizes,and summarizes them to form a huge and complex creation system of the Book of Songs.Then,through other pre-Qin literature and annotations of later generations,and the related achievements of the study of Mingwu,image research and archaeological research of the Book of Songs,this paper examines the creations in the Book of Songs from the perspective of modern design,breaks the inherent cognition,restores the creations into the environment of the Book of Songs,makes the Book of Songs have different reading experiences.Explores the genes of traditional Chinese creations from the language of the Book of Songs,and narrates the story of Chinese culture with the creations in the Book of Songs.A large part of the ritual and music culture of the pre-Qin period is carried by the design of the creation.Most of the creations in the the Book of Songs have the background of the ritual system,and relatively objectively reflect the actual situation of the ritual system design of the Western Zhou Dynasty,so it is not as hierarchical as that in the ’ Three Rites ’,and is more abundant and diverse than archaeological data.The subdivision of the ’ hundred workers ’industry,the planning of the creation process,and the decomposition of the manufacturing action reflect the prototype of standardized production.The design details that are difficult to be reflected in many archaeological materials in the creation of vehicles and weapons show the high development of function-oriented handicrafts and the thinking of useful design.Farm implements and tools have gained rich functions and long-term vitality through continuous improvement,and also continue the national sentiment of hand-woven.The color,heraldry and structural form recorded in the Book of Songs all reflect the design aesthetics of that era,such as the beauty of bigness,the beauty of implication,the beauty of sequence and the beauty of symmetry,which affect the aesthetic pursuit of the Chinese nation and have a profound impact on the design creation of later generations.The relatively consistent spatial narrative mode of architecture in the Book of Songs reflects the deep cultural psychological structure of Chinese people.This design aesthetic and psychological structure runs through the traditional Chinese creation. |
