Chinese traditional architeture are always use wooden frame,so,with the passage of time,the preservation of them are fewer and fewer.There was no theoretical works about architecture in ancient China only untill "Rules In Architecure",a book published in Song Dynasty,that because the isolation of "theory" and "practice" since ancient times. Therefore,the study of Chinese ancient architecture,only bases on a few examples of building is not enough,and mostly bases on the records and descriptions in numerous Chinese ancient literatures. Chinese Pre-Qin literature is the source of Chinese literature,which also includes the source idea of Chinese culture.The study of Chinese Pre-Qin literature,not only help to find the source of Chinese traditional architectural idea,but also benifet bringing a number of important corroborations for ancient buildings.Chapter one of the paper simply discusses the general relations between Pre-Qin Chinese literature and Chinese traditional architecture.Chapter two,bases on Chinese ancient myths,illustrates the origin of Chinese traditional architecture and the birth of architectural aesthetic.In this chapter,on the basis of previous researches of others,choses four aspects to discuss the birth of aesthetic culture of Chinese traditional architecture.The content is as follows:1. Eommeneing from the myths "Pangu Open Up the Heaven and the Earth",we can see the heaven,earth and universe worship in Chinese traditional architecture aesthetic. 2.The influence of dragon worship over building aesthetic.3.The relations between phoenix worship and the big roof of Chinese architectures .4. The relations between mountain worship and the High-Platform architectures.Chapter three is to find the ancient buildings which has disappeared from "the Book of Songs".See that the changes from Shang Dynasty's necromancy to the Western Zhou Dynasty's spirit of senses,and the architectural activity in Zhou Dynasty had created a ceremony of senses."The Book of Songs" also recorded two ancient Chinese architects Gong Liu and Dan Fu who had planned the ancient citys Bin town and Qi town. From "the songs in Qi" in "the Book of Songs",we can find that the traditional architectural space sequence had formed completely in Early Zhou Dynasty.From "Ling Tai" in "the Book of Songs",we can sum up the characters of early Chinese garden.And from imago of trees in songs of "guo feng",we can find Chinese people's favor to wood, so we can understand why Chinese traditional architecture is made of wood for more than 2000 years.Finally,at last of chapter there compares the artistic expressive form between literature,for example "the Book of Songs",and Chinese traditional architecture such as symbolization,contrast and reiteration. Chapter four,on the basis of study of predecessors,focus on the aesthetics of pre-Qin Confucianism and Taoism,and expounds the aesthetics' impact on Chinese traditional architecture.Chapter five,bases on "The Poetry of Chu",and then sum up the features of Chu in pre-Qin period and the differents from architectures in central plains regions.Chapter six summarises the contens of the paper, and makes recommendations for furture study of the issue. |
