Buddhism’s Horizon On The Research Of Liang Shuming’s Philosophy And Thought

If I say Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought is influenced by Buddhism Profoundly,whom understand Liang Shuming or read the works of him will be no criticism.And research about Liang Shuming’s Buddhist thought is also increasing in academic circles,which makes us find the explicit or implicit mark of Buddhism in Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought.It also makes us understanding Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought more accurately.But there is still no special system research works about Liang Shuming’s Buddhist thought.It has not yet appeared research work,which combined Buddhism with Liang Shuming’s view of Confucianism,Liang Shuming’s view of western philosophy,Liang Shuming’s view of Marxism,Liang Shuming’s culture philosophy and Liang Shuming’s thought of rural construction.The paper choose Buddhism horizon,which is most respected by Liang Shuming,to research on Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought.The paper strive to display intrinsic connection and interaction between Buddhism and Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought,and strive to display effection of Buddhism in Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought.In the structure of the paper,in addition to the introduction and conclusion,the paper’s structure and organization is based on Liang Shuming’s thinking logic of three cultural directions.The paper respectively to study Liang Shuming’s philosophy and thought from five aspects,which include the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of western philosophy,the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of MAarxism,the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of Confucianism,the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s culture philosophy,the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s rural construction thought.The first two chapters observe and study the western culture of first direction from Buddhist horizon.The third chapter observes and studies the Confucian culture of second direction from Buddhist horizon.The last two chapters observe and study cultural theroy,which put three cultural directions as the backbone,and observe and study his culture philosophy’s practice on village construction.In the introduction part,I firstly introduces the reason of this research,which distinguish Buddhism as religion,Buddhism as knowledge,Buddha Dharma and Buddhist in the form of a footnote.The paper emphasizes that I will not distinguish these concepts,and will not limite them strictly.And expounds Liang Shuming’s experience about Buddhism,and the problem which I will solve in this paper.Then I reviewed and analyzed the research Situation and achievements of this field,finally I discusses the basic train of thought,research methods,innovation of this paper and the significance of the topic.In the first chapter,<Comparison and evaluation:the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of western philosophy>,I distinguish pratyaksam,anuma^na and feiliang(非量).Then I discuss the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of western philosophy from two aspects,One is the comparison of Dharmalaksana and Bergson’s life philosophy,another is Dharmalaksana’s evaluation on Western metaphysics.In the second chapter,<Transmundane dharmas and worldly dharmas: the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of marxism>,I mainly discuss the comparison of Buddhism and marxism,the Communist society fit Buddhism and Liang Shuming’s more and more harmonious attitude of marxism.In the third chapter,<Unsurpassed and expedient means: the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s view of Confucianism>,I discuss Liang Shuming’s view on the difference between Buddhism and Confucianism,the similarity between Buddhism and Confucianism.Then discuss Liang Shuming’s identity,I think he is Confucianist and also Buddhist.In the fourth chapter,<Measuring by the Buddhist philosophy: the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s culture philosophy>,I discuss the relationship between Dharmalaksana and three cultural directions,the relationship between Dharmalaksana epistemology and three ways of life in China,The West and India,the relationship between Dharmalaksana and give lectures custom again.In the fifth chapter,<bodhisattva-carya^’s outlook on life:the horizon of Buddhism about Liang Shuming’s rural construction thought>,I divided it into three sections.They are to doing countryside work with pravrajita spirit,the relation of deep heart and big ambition with cultivation of country construction personnel,and trigger self-force.In the last part,based on the above chapters,I discuss the role of Buddhism in Modern Neo-Confucianism’s philosophy and thought,and the role of Buddhism in the construction of contemporary chinese philosophy.Then I discriminate Liang Shuming’s view,which think Buddhism can not be uses in this word at present.Finally I summarize the enlightenment of this study.
