Abstract/Summary:
Poems in Guangdong Province in modern times is roughly divided into two periods:the Dao-Xiantong Period and the Guangxuan Period. In the early stage, the two Opium Wars and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement continued one after another.Guangdong,as the frontline and source of war,was severely damaged.Affected by the war, poetry creation took war writing and the revelation of civilian life as important themes, thus escaping reality with Qianjia poetry. The poetic style of sectarian disputes was clearly demarcated, forming the transformation of modern poetry, followed by the short-term Tongzhi Zhongxing, and the later period of Tongzhi Zhongxing. The economic and cultural construction of "the middle school is the body, the western learning is used" is vigorously promoted. The dispute between Tang and Song in the poetry circle re-emerged.Affected by it,the trend of Zong Song appeared in the Cantonese poetry circle. With the failure of the Sino-Japanese SinoJapanese War of 1894-1895,the call for reform was increasing, and the literary "Four Realms Revolution" was proposed,"Poetry Revolution" Developed like a raging fire, and the two peaks of the Song Dynasty poetry school stood side by side in the Guangdong poetry world. The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter comprehensively investigates the magnificent background of the emergence of modern Cantonese poetry from the perspective of geopolitical investigation, academic transformation, poetry ecology and traditional paradigm.Chapters 2 and 3 discuss the development and evolution of Cantonese poetry during the same period of Dao-Xiang Dynasty.During this period,Ruan Yuan Duyue founded Xuehaitang, advocating simplicity and realism. The characteristics of poetry reflect the unprecedented return of realism. The poet not only pays attention to the vast reality, writes chaos and people’s livelihood, but also has a sense of the research and discovery of local culture.awareness.The second chapter selects Zhang Weiping, the initiator of Qianjia’s transformation to Daoxian poetry, and the representative group of poets from Xuehaitang in the Guangdong poetry circle. The third chapter selects the scholar poet Chen Li,the philosopher Zhu Ciqi, the poet Ye Yinghua, and the Mu-ke poet Wang Zhen as examples to try to combine their different identities, experiences, and personalities to threedimensionally show the poetic interest and path of Cantonese poetry.Chapters 4 5 and 6 discuss the general situation of Guangdong poetry during the Guangxuan period.Chapter 4 "Poetry Revolutionaries" selects Huang Zunxian,Qiu Fengjia,Kang Youwei,Liang Qichao, and Kangmen disciples Mai Menghua and Pan Zhibo as representatives. The spirit of religious commitment, using poetry as a weapon, strives to promote and practice political ideals and reform proposals, and undertakes the enlightenment of "breaking the deaf and sleeping","explaining philosophy" and "advocating civil rights"Responsibility for national salvation. The political and ideological nature of poetry is unprecedentedly prominent. The fifth chapter introduces Zongsong’s other poets in Guangdong, represented by Liang Dingfen,Luo Dunlu, and Zeng Xijing among the "Four Lingnan Modern Schools" that Guangya Academy came out of.What they have in common is that they insist on preserving the national essence and poetic style. Most of the capital Zong Song, compromised and harmonized the Tang and Song dynasties at the right time, and the poetic style was "clear and quiet",forming a conservative school in the Cantonese poetry circle.Among them,Liang Dingfen "style is close to the mid-levels and the east slope",Zeng Xijingze "Take the Wanling Mausoleum and Mount the Back Mountain",and Luo Dunzhu’s "Poetry Sect Luyou, passing the valley and the milk",forming different poetic tendencies in the Zongsong School.Chapter 6 is based on the revolutionary poets of Nanshe in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. The poets of Nanshe used literature to advocate revolution, oppose the Qing dynasty, call for democracy and republic, and support the leadership of Sun Yat-sen on the cultural front. The Revolution of 1911.In the field of poetry creation, they are "the strong voice of the progress of the times",and they compete with the traditional "same light style" to compete for the hegemony in the poetry world. They also show the characteristics of inheriting and carrying forward the spirit of realism in the tradition of classical poetry.
