| During Japanese war of aggression against China,in order to cooperate with its military aggression against China and consolidate its occupation and rule in the occupied areas of China,the Japanese army established a large-scale "pacifying and propaganda squad" in the occupied areas to carry out the so-called "pacifying and propaganda" work.The Japanese army’s "pacifying and propaganda" work against China was an important part of Japan’s war of aggression against China.In the context of the war of aggression against China,"pacifying and propaganda squad" concocted "pacifying and propaganda" literature with the subject of "pacifying and propaganda" work,which,to a certain extent,could reflect the actual state of "pacifying and propaganda" work and has become an important way and means to study of "pacifying and propaganda" work.Focusing on the "pacifying and propaganda" work after the outbreak of the comprehensive war of aggression against China,this dissertation analyzes the medical "pacifying and propaganda" work and the Japanese education "pacifying and propaganda" work which are regarded as the core cultural works of Japan to China and are often dubbed "humanitarian" and "pacifist" from the perspective of Japan’s cultural aggression against China.From the perspective of the integration of literature and history,using a large number of basic documents and "pacifying and propaganda" literature texts,and combining canonical empirical research with textual close reading,this dissertation analyzes how Japan’s "pacifying and propaganda" work along with its military expedition carries out the invasion and aggression against China,which reveals the diversity and complexity of its internal structure,as well as the concealment and deceptiveness of its aggression,and exposes the lies and essence of Japan’s "liberation" and "salvation" thoughts on "pacifying and propaganda" work.This dissertation consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly reviews the rise and decline of the Japanese invaders’ "pacifying and propaganda squad" and its "pacifying and propaganda" work,which lays a historical foundation for the research of this dissertation.On the basis of relevant historical records and previous researches,this chapter focuses on the general outline and historical context of Japan’s "pacifying and propaganda squad" and its "pacifying and propaganda" work in China,and clarifies its organizational form,the implementation of the goals and tasks,and its development,revealing that the "pacifying and propaganda" work is a cultural war and ideological war working together with military aggression,and that the "pacifying and propaganda" work destroys the resistance will of the Chinese people in the occupied areas in the war of aggression against China,reduces the resistance of aggression against China,and plays the role of "lubricating oil" for the Japanese armed invasion of China.The second chapter mainly examines the essence of "pacifying and propaganda" thought and its manifestations in "pacifying and propaganda" literature.The paradox and "naive" nature of the "pacifying and propaganda" thought of the so-called "herders" and "saviors" by Yagi numa,the chief squad leader of the "pacifying and propaganda squad" in North China,determines that the "Sino-Japanese Goodwill" advertised by "pacifying and propaganda" work cannot be realized.The "naive" nature of "pacifying and propaganda" thought is embodied in the fascist ideological construction in the occupied areas and "pacifying and propaganda" literature for Japanese readers.Therefore,the wartime "pacifying and propaganda" literature aimed at the Japanese people and the "pacifying and propaganda" work aimed at the people in the occupied areas cooperate with each other,constituting the "one body and two sides" of the Japanese ideological propaganda war.The third chapter analyzes the narrative of the medical "pacifying and propaganda" in the text of "pacifying and propaganda" literature from the perspective of the medical "pacifying and propaganda",and reveals that the medical "pacifying and propaganda" is nothing but the ways and strategies of spreading and instilling Japanese fascist ideology to the people in the occupied areas by "pacifying and propaganda squad" under the guise of "medical care",also reveals the diversity and complexity of the "pacifying and propaganda" work and the concealment and deceptiveness of its aggression.The fourth chapter focuses on exposing the "peaceful" lie of Japanese education "pacifying and propaganda" work in the school’s "sermon".Combining the canonical empirical research with the textual close reading,this dissertation examines the implementation status of Japanese education "pacifying and propaganda" in the occupied areas,the characteristics of teaching materials and the real purpose of the implementation of Japanese education in "pacifying and propaganda squad" from the perspective of the integration of literature and history,and exposes the lies and essence behind its "pacifism". |
