Chinese people led by the CPC are not achieved by changes in the external social environment,but by the correction of errors and strategic changes of the Party.It is through the Party’s self revolution that the ability to seize opportunities and respond to risks and challenges is improved.The courage to self revolution is the most distinctive character and greatest advantage of the CPC,the key code to solve the long-term governance problem,the major political responsibility to further promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party,and the major political task to ensure the smooth realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.At the same time,we promoted self revolution with great political courage,which to a large extent solved the outstanding problems of impure ideology,politics,organization and style within the Party,and enhanced the creative vitality of the Party.So,how can our Party maintain the momentum of self revolution?Or how to put it into practice?To solve this problem,we should not only have the cutting edge inward political courage,but also need to explore the law of self revolution from the theoretical level.Therefore,taking the self revolution of the CPC as the research object,systematically combing and summarizing the historical process and basic experience of the party’s self revolution,in order to provide theoretical the country during the new democratic revolution.Looking back at the history of the new democratic revolution,the CPC has tenaciously led the Chinese people to achieve revolutionary achievements that Zedong as the core was formed,which saved the revolution,saved the Party,and started the historical journey from partial governance to national salvation.From two setbacks to two rallies,the CPC people can turn crises into opportunities,and the ability to self purify and self repair is the key to success.It is precisely because the right revolutionary path and the determination of the core leadership group driven by the self revolution that the CPC and the Chinese nation can usher in the dawn of peace in an era of uncertainty.During the period of socialist revolution and construction,the self revolution of shaping the Party and rejuvenating the country.The victory of the new democratic revolution has brought about a major change in the historical orientation of our party,and the urgent need for socialist revolution and construction has put forward higher requirements for our party.The self revolution in this period was placed in a more prominent position,and its central task also changed:to forge a people’s party that can withstand the double test of victory and governance,so as to consolidate its position.The organizational scale of the CPC,which has changed from local governance to national governance,has been greatly improved.By 1951 alone,the number of party members in China had increased by 2.7 million compared with the beginning of 1949,and the number of grass-roots party organizations reached as many as 250000.However,along with the increase in the number of Party members and organizations,there are risks of impure thinking and style,among which conceit and bureaucratism prevail among veteran cadres;Corruption and violations of the law and discipline occur from time to time among new Party members,seriously damaging the image of our Party,and our Party is facing increasingly severe governance challenges.In this regard,our Party has carried out many rectification campaigns in the spirit of thorough self revolution.From the whole party rectification movement aimed at party members and cadres in the second half of 1950,the three-year rectification and party building movement from 1951 to 1954 and the "three anti"movement,to the rectification movement against the "three major doctrines" from 1957 to 1958,the "four clean-up" movement from 1963 to 1966,and to the rectification and party building movement focusing on ideological rectification and organizational reform from 1969 to 1971.Time and time again,the CPC has been cutting edge inward,integrating the"temporary" and "fundamental" aspects of the rectification movement and the construction of the party members and cadres into the self revolutionary layout,and improving itself with a firm self revolutionary spirit,which has provided a solid guarantee for consolidating its ruling position and maintaining the progressiveness and purity of the party during this period.In the new period of reform,opening up and socialist modernization,we should make a China strong in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.After the Chinese revolution,construction and reform,the Chinese nation has accumulated the material foundation and spiritual strength to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,which is closer to the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation than at any time in history.Therefore,during this period,our Party’s mission of self revolution reached an unprecedented height.On the one hand,we
