Since the 21st century,tremendous changes have been caused in almost every field of the world by AI,Big Data,Cloud Technology,Biotechnology,and other major technologies,driving fundamental changes in all sectors of the society.In the field of education,the all-round infiltration of AI has inspired people’s imagination to the future school,aroused people’s attention and debate about the future school.Ever since the seed of "School of the Future" funded by Microsoft planted in Philadelphia,conferences,projects and plans named after the "School of the Future" have spread rapidly around the world,and countries around the world have started to rebuild school with IT.In this context,the future school has become a trend that the technology changing school in the era of AI.This paper is based on the position of the basic education theory,focusing on "How to understand and construct the future school in the era of AI?" In addition to the introduction,this paper is consisted of three parts,including five chapters.The first part is also the first chapter about the premise of this research,which proposes that the future school is the necessary direction of school change in the AI era.The second part is the main body of this research,including Chapter 2,Chapter 3,and Chapter 4,minutely analyzing the concept,the value and the picture of the future school.The third part is the key and the last chapter of this research,which is to design the construction scheme of the future school.The first chapter of this research tries to answer "why the future school can be the necessary direction for the school change in the AI age?" This chapter first analyzes the social transformation and the educational reform in the era of AI on macro-level.Then,outlining and explaining the history and development trend of school change on micro-level.It is expected that the school change in the AI age will not only continue to actively pay attention to the demands of social development on education and human beings,but also more actively care about the needs of human growth,and complete the transformation of schools with human life growth as the center.From this,the paper finally puts forward that the future school is the necessary direction of the school change in the AI age,that is,the future school meets the inevitable requirements of the social transformation on the school change,tries to respond to the urgent needs of the education reform on the school change,and aims to meet the intrinsic demands of the human development on the school change.The second chapter discusses "how to analyze the concept of the future school?" Firstly,this chapter establishes the future view in the era of AI,which holds that the future is a kind of rich existence which is different from and interrelated with the present and the past,so we should grasp the future more accurately on the basis of understanding the reality and the past,and absorb and transform the experience of reality and history based on the future situation and the future needs,so as to create the future better.Hence,based on the social transformation,education reform,and human development needs in the era,this research creatively absorbs and converses the strengths of the school in various eras to argue that the future school is a mixed education institution supported by the new information technology to explore the integration of various environments,pursue the integration of formal education and informal learning,and realize the symbiosis between human and intelligent agents in education.The future school is a teaching and learning community of self-completeness in essence,which has the characteristics of "man-machine intelligence",embodied experience,structural rheology,open learning,discontinuous process and humanism.The basic and important function of the future school is education,which means through a holistic education to cultivate holistic person,and indirectly promote the "good intelligence" of the Agent and the development of society.Chapter 3 explores"How to pursue the true value of the future school?" This chapter first answers the question of how to recognize and judge the value and holds that the future school value system which could guide the school change should always be constructed in the connection between the authenticity of the subject’s need and the possibility of the object’s satisfaction.Secondly,it clarifies the real needs of human beings in the AI age in four relations of human and AI,human and intelligent family,human and intelligent society,and human and universe nature,including learning to"self-completeness",learning to "Qin Qin",learning to "forming society",and learning to "harmony between man and nature".Finally,wandering in the teaching and learning field of the future school,which find that the future school is enabled by technology could precisely meet the four needs of human beings.The future school will have the value of "self-completeness" and realize the individual self-completeness in the wholeness teaching.The future school will have the value of "Qin Qin",which will enhance the parent-child relationship in the home-school linkage network.The future school will have the value of "forming society" and cultivate public man in the "multi-dimensional and embedded" educational public life.The future school will have the value of heaven and earth,promoting the realization of "the naturalization of man" in the education of natural.Chapter 4 discusses "How to draw the overall picture of the future school?" First,this chapter illustrates the conception of the future school picture with a holistic approach.Second,this research cleans up the existing research from three dimensions,including learning space,the study way,and the education process.On the basis of critically absorbing the existing ideas and materials,reconstruct the specific contents of the three dimensions from a holistic perspective.It is suggested that the future school should build a learning space with rheology,move towards a multi-dimensional integrated learning way,and design a flexible and stable education process.Finally,from the perspectives of students,teachers,parents and members of society,the overall picture of the future school would be presented in the interconnection,interaction and mutual penetration of the three dimensions.The last chapter of this study answers the question "How to construct the future school?" From the perspective of complex thinking,this chapter designs a holistic construction scheme including construction idea,construction mechanism and construction strategy for the development of the future school.First of all,based on the dialectical thinking of "change" and "constant",put forward the construction idea of the future school.Stick to education essence,and take human life growth as the criterion of construction.Pay attention to the teaching and learning community,and take the community as the position of construction;Care about life world,and take the transcendence of life world as the principle of construction.Secondly,this research constructs a four-in-one innovation mechanism,including a synergistic linkage mechanism combining the clarity between power and responsibility and information exchange,a capability building mechanism combining individual empowerment and organizational empowerment,a compound incentive mechanism combining the internal drive and the external thrust,a resource investment mechanism combining multiple participation and accurate evaluation.Finally,from the social system,the education system,and the school system,put forward the concrete and feasible construction strategies of the future school:create a supportive social environment,build a comprehensive life-long education system,build a teaching and learning community of self-completeness.
