The Belt and Road Initiative-BRI,proposed on the end of 2013 by President Xi Jinping,of the People’s Republic of China in his State Visit of Kazakhstan and Indonesia,as the"Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road" project,which is also called "One Belt,One Road" and,actually "The Belt and Road Initiative";with the purpose of reactivating the "old trade routes" that merchants used to transit and trade exchange between Asia,Europe,and Africa;it also invites Latin America and Ocean countries to join in this mega project.This approach has the purpose of building and rehabilitating the historic ways(Land and Maritime)where the old merchants used to make the route to generate international trade through barter,as well as exchanged culture,customs and religion among others.Moreover,they were considered the "First Ambassadors" of each Empire and Kingdom.A proposal that starts from the importance of regional integration and interdependence generated through of the multichannel of cooperation between countries,through the proposal of infrastructure investment to so-called economic corridors by part of the government of China.Where the Latin America and itself the South American Region has been incorporated into this project as the Natural Extension of the BRI of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road,through the implementation of the project which connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans joining Brazil,Bolivia and Peru,in the so called the"Bioceanic Train Corridor1" to link up with Asian Region countries.The importance of this megaproject is based on the historical part dating from the 2nd Century B.C;and,the connection with the American continent from the 15th Century A.D.during the Kingdom of Felipe Ⅱ of Spain sending the traders for commercial exchange from Atlantic and Pacific routes.This research held know it the importance of the implementation of projects for geographical integration through the trade between the countries of South American region that aims to connect with the Asian market in the shortest possible time.And finally,this investigation is based in the Interdependence,Functionalism and Neofunctionalism theories,which studying the development of this cases.
