Research On The Driving Factors And Economic Effects Of The Construction Of Our Country’s Modern Industrial System

The construction of China’s modern industrial system is a key element of the comprehensive construction of China’s modernized economic system,but also the necessary road to achieve the construction of socialist modernization.Since the reform and opening up,China’s industrial system has continued to develop,and great achievements have been made in economic and social development,but at the same time,many problems have been accumulated,such as low quality and efficiency,outstanding contradictions in resources and environment,large disparities between regional urban and rural areas,and the existence of cardinal points and blockages in the economic cycle,etc.The key to solving these problems lies in promoting the construction of modernization of the industrial system and building China’s modern industrial system.The construction of modern industrial system plays an important role in realizing high-quality economic development,unblocking the domestic and international double cycle,coping with the profound adjustment of global economy,industry,investment,trade and supply chain pattern,promoting the deep integration of science and technology and economy as well as various sub-industries,and improving the important guarantee of people’s quality of life.Therefore,how to systematically build China’s modern industrial system is not only a theoretical issue of socialism with Chinese characteristics that needs to be filled,but also a major strategic research and policy formulation issue related to the all-round development of my country’s economy.In view of the problems that the existing researches are not comprehensive enough to summarize the driving factors of the modern industrial system,the construction path is controversial,and the economic effect analysis is lacking,this paper is guided by Marxist political economics and socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics,focusing on General Secretary Xi Jinping Regarding the construction ideas of my country’s modern industrial system and the strategic development goals in the "14th Five-Year Plan",the theoretical logic,internal basis and construction mechanism of the modernization of my country’s industrial system are deeply analyzed and systematically expounded,and combined with empirical analysis and case discussions,In order to find the construction path and theoretical support of the modern industrial system,and then put forward corresponding policy suggestions.Firstly,the connotation and characteristics of modern industrial system and its related classical theories are elaborated.Based on the existing literature,this paper points out that the modern industrial system refers to the modern production mode and organizational operation system based on the inheritance and expansion of traditional industrial structure,adapting to the new direction of industrial development and technological progress,and relying on innovation-driven,intelligent manufacturing,demand-led,industrial integration and green low-carbon.Its construction requires grasping the latest trends in the industry,adapting to the latest changes in the environment,and integrating various elements required for industrial development into the modernization framework of the industrial system,so as to accurately grasp the focus of the modern industrial system to achieve balance,coordination and sustainable development ideas and policies.From the historical dimension,the modern industrial system is characterized by systemic,dynamic,contemporary and long-term characteristics;from the practical point of view,the modern industrial system is characterized by innovative,integration,openness,demand-oriented and other complex features.Thereafter,this paper discusses the importance of the development of modern industrial system in conjunction with classical theories,and through the combing of the existing relevant literature,the insufficiency of the current research on the quantitative evaluation of modern industrial system is found,highlighting the necessity of the research in this paper.Secondly,the subjects and driving factors of the construction of modern industrial system in China are analyzed in depth.This paper defines the different roles played by government,market and enterprises in the construction of modern industrial system through relevant theories,and establishes an analysis framework based on four dimensions of "technology-circulation-space-coordination".Among them,the development of modern industrial technology system can accelerate the progress of industrial technology,improve industrial production efficiency,expand industrial production scale and realize the effective allocation efficiency of resources,which can contribute to the modernization of industrial system;modern industrial circulation system can improve the construction of new infrastructure,accelerate the flow of productive resources and digital financial development,adjust and optimize industrial structure,which can contribute to the modernization of industrial system;modern industrial The modern industrial space system can promote the modernization of the industrial system by reasonably planning the spatial layout of the industry,achieving the integration and utilization of productive resources and cultivating and growing new industries;the modern industrial coordination system can promote the coordinated development of manufacturing and service industries and achieve sustainable development by using digital information technology for green production,which can promote the modernization of the industrial system.modernization of the industrial system.Thirdly,the development path of modern industrial system construction in China is explored.This paper mainly adopts urban panel data,uses double difference model and other measurement methods,theoretically analyzes and empirically tests the driving factors of modern industrial system construction.It is found that the development of modern industrial technology system,modern industrial spatial system,modern industrial spatial system and modern industrial coordination system can significantly promote the modernization of industrial system.This conclusion is still significant after using PSM-DID model re-estimation,placebo test,replacing explained variables and controlling province-year joint fixed effect.On this basis,combined with the rich experience of industrial system modernization in some developed countries and domestic advanced cities,this paper puts forward the development path of our country’s industrial system modernization,that is,by improving the modern industrial technology system,modern industrial circulation system,and modern industrial space system Coordinate the system with modern industries to consolidate and develop the real economy,continuously strengthen the technological innovation-driven development mechanism,continuously improve the level of modern financial services,and improve the supply quality and allocation efficiency of human resources,thereby accelerating the construction of our country’s modern industrial system.Finally,the economic effects of the construction of China’s modern industrial system are evaluated.The central government has made clear since 2007 the importance of building a modern industrial system to support high-quality economic development,respond to the accelerated changes in the global industrial division of labor pattern,and promote the synergistic development of industries.This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the economic effects of the modern industrial system from three perspectives: macro,meso and micro,using various econometric methods such as least squares,two-stage least squares and panel fixed effects models.At the macro level,this paper empirically investigates the impact of modernization of China’s industrial system on achieving high-quality development,common prosperity and smooth domestic and international circulation by using urban panel data.It is found that the construction of China’s modern industrial system has significantly promoted high-quality development and promoted the development of domestic and international double cycles,and promoted the process of regional common prosperity by improving infrastructure construction;at the meso level,it focuses on the impact of the construction of modern industrial system on the economic effects at the enterprise level.It is found that the construction of China’s modern industrial system will not significantly promote the growth of enterprise performance,but obviously contribute to the improvement of enterprise innovation performance and reduce the pollution emission of enterprises.At the micro level,five rounds of survey data from the China Household Tracking Survey conducted by the China Social Science Survey Center of Peking University were used to empirically analyze the impact of modernization of China’s industrial system on per capita household income,urban-rural income gap,and The impact of household entrepreneurship.It is found that the construction of China’s modern industrial system can significantly promote the increase of per capita household income,and help to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas,but will inhibit the entrepreneurial behavior of residents.Through the evaluation of the overall effect of the modernization of China’s industrial system,this paper provides a scientific theoretical basis for the government to build a modern industrial system.In summary,This paper comprehensively and deeply expounds the connotation and characteristics of the modern industrial system,demonstrates the driving factors and logical thinking of the construction of the modern industrial system,clarifies the mechanism of the construction of the modern industrial system in our country,and empirically tests the development path and the emergence of the construction of the modern industrial system.Through summarizing the experience of developing modern industrial systems in capitalist developed countries and socialist developed cities,it provides targeted and innovative inspiration and reference for the construction of our country’s modern industrial system,and finally based on the actual situation of national economic development.,combining the construction of the four major systems of "industrial technology system-industrial circulation system-industrial space system-industry coordination system" with the industrial system of coordinated development of "real economy,technological innovation,modern finance,human resources",and proposes practical,effective and reasonable Actionable policy recommendations.This will inject theoretical vitality and practical basis for the construction of modern industrial system in the theory of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.
