Through experimental study of THF hydrate to obtain a series of gas hydrate physical and mechanical properties, has been widely recognized by the scientific community. Science proved, through the formation of THF hydrate model experimental study of gas hydrate formation to get some physical and mechanical properties is reasonable and effective, that not only can solve the difficult problem of taking status quo, but also greatly reduce the difficulty of composing gas hydrate formation.This experiment mainly is to study the formation process of THF hydrate formation through two different pathways in order to produce in the lowest cost for THF hydrate formation in the shortest time. (1) Add SDS to the THF solution; (2) reduce the temperature of THF. The first experiment is to get the relationship between three variable factors that are the amount of SDS, concentration of THF solution and the time of formation through the method of adding SDS to the THF solution; the second experiment is to obtain the relationship between temperature, the concentration of THF solution and the time of formation.The first experiment has not only got the relationship between the amount of SDS, concentration of THF solution and the time of formation, but also obtained the optimal amount of SDS and most reasonable concentration of THF solution to accelerate the speed of formation through analysis and summary of the experiment results. When we completed the second experiment, we got that the lowest temperature of THF hydrate formation and the relationship between hydrate formation temperature and time.Using finite element software ANSYS, we analyzed the process that coring drilling hydrate formation. By changing drilling pressure and the parameters of hydrate formation two methods, we analyzed the disturbed plastic zone that coring bit drilling created. Not only the results of finite element analysis were compared in this thesis, but also drawn on the shear failure theory of soil mechanics. We obtained the relationship between the plastic zone and drilling pressure, cohesion and internal friction angle of the hydrate formation. We got the linear relationship between the drilling pressure and the Radius of plastic zone. All of this provides a method to do some in-depth research on mechanical properties of hydrate formation and the further aim is to give Velocity logging a reference way.
