Establishment Of Three Dimension Residents Information System Based On ArcEngine

This thesis takes the Baiyin district as an experimental area of Baiyin in Gansu Province, and studies how to establish an effective and practical management and query three dimensional residents information system through the use of three dimensional GIS technology. In view of the management method of residents'information which changes unceasingly, for better management of residents'information, the paper proposed introduces 3D GIS technology into the management of residents'information to build a 3D residents information system basing on 3D GIS technology and facing the department of local government.The key technology of choice and memory of 3D data, construction and optimization of 3D scene is discussed in detail. And the system structure, function design, database design, the flow of the system realization and the relevant technical problems are studied. The folloing achievements have been acquired:(1) The integrated modelling method of SketchUp and ArcGIS is studied to found the Multipatch three-dimensional model data, the data realized each inhabitant's house takes an entity alone on the building of residence. So the essential condition is created to inquiry inhabitant information of clicking each household model.(2) Real texture pictures are pasted on all the buildings of the experimental area, and real 3D terrain is created by the remote sensing image and the digital elevation model of Baiyin. So the real 3D scene is founded, and optimizes its performance.(3) The ArcGIS Geodatabase database is used and established, so the integrated memory and management of buildings'spatial data and attribute data is realized.(4) The 3D residents information system of Baiyin district is realized by Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and ArcEngine as the software development platform and the development component.
