Hydrology is the basic work related to national economic construction and water conservancy development.It has been an important direction for the hydrological research that how to store and manage the hydrological data scientifically and efficiently while the data become the important information decision basis of the country.At present,various countries have established a relatively complete hydrological database and basically achieved the information management of hydrological data.However,Because hydrological data are heterogeneous and complex in structure and have obvious temporal and spatial features and topological characteristics.,traditional database management methods can no longer meet the requirements of modern urban development for the unified storage,centralized management,and multidimensional display of hydrological data.As one of the important components of geographic information system,spatial database technology has powerful geospatial data management capabilities.Therefore,it is necessary to fully apply spatial database technology to hydrology and water resources and establish a new data management platform.This paper aims at the integrated management of hydrological information.First of all,it conducts in-depth research on the development history of hydrological database and the application of GIS technology in hydrology field,clarifies the characteristics and classification of hydrological data,compares and analyzes the key technologies involved in the system,and finally select database backup and recovery technology based on RMAN(Recovery Manager),ArcSDE spatial data engine,and component development technology as main technical means.Secondly,the dissertation discusses the key points for the design of hydro-spatial data model,select the Geodatabase spatial data model to build the hydro-spatial database,and completes the conceptual design,logical design,and physical design of the database,including the division of logical sub-database,the formulation of spatial data stratification scheme and the research on data security strategy,etc.In terms of system design,the paper completes the design of the overall system architecture and internal and external structures based on the guiding ideology of software engineering and the theory of systems analysis and integration,combined with the system's security and stability requirements,formulates a system integration management plan,and clarifies the detailed functions of each module.In terms of system implementation,it uses the ArcSDE spatial data engine and ArcEngine component development methods,takes.Net as the main development platform,and implements functions such as database engineering,layer management,hydrological information retrieval,spatial analysis,hydrological information update,and database maintenance and so on.Finally,taking the Datong hydrology and Water Resources Survey Bureau as the demonstration area,the system is applied to the actual hydrological data management to test its practicality.It is proved that the design,development and application of the system realizes the integrated management of hydrological data,enhances the visualization of hydrological data management,improves the management efficiency and management level of hydrological data,and provides an important information support platform for the development of digital hydrology and intelligent hydrology.
