Military Digital Topographic Map Editing And Output System Based On MicroStation

On the basis of thorough research into Microstation and its secondary development function, a military digital topographic map editing and output system based on MicroStation is created. It is utilized for product editing and data format convert in the Fully Digital Surveying System for Remote Sensing Images.The paper introduces the organizing program of the system in detail and the method for customizing MicroStation; expatiates upon the building of map symbolic library and the automated realization process of map border decoration; explains the design principle of input and output function and analyzes the technical methods for developing important digital map editing functions.The trial demonstrates the map symbolic library is complete ,normative and perfect in functions. The output digital map in DON format can satisfy the needs of map publishing as well as data convert and meet the demands of system devisal.
