Tungsten is one of preponderant mineral resources in china, but among these ores 80% were found in Southern China tungsten-tin metallogenetic belt. As an important coloured-metal mineralization belt, the middle-southern Da Hinggan Mountains area may become a vital mothball metal base in 21 century. With the imbursement of the geological survey project from the China Geological Survey Bureau, Shamai tungsten deposit located in the west side of the southern Da Hinggan Mountains was chosen to study, and to compare with the same-type tungsten deposits in southern China. Based on the geological and geochemical study, some primary indication were put forward for subsequent seeking for similar ores. The study has theoretic and practical meaning in enriching the tungsten deposit theoretic research and expanding perspective targets. With the theory of comparative methods of economic geology, detailed geological and geochemical study on Shamai tungsten deposit was done and primary comparative study with Xihuashan tungsten deposit was worked over. The dissertation achieved major progress in following aspect:1. Primary systemic geochemical study of major elements, rare elements, isotope and fluid inclusion of Shamai tungsten deposit in northern china had been worked over for the first time, which accumulated data for more detailed research;2. Shamai granitic mass related to tungsten mineralization is a complex body, which can be differentiated into two types: one is formed by magma crystallization, and the other is formed by melt-solution alteration after the major granite body had been crystallized, and the latter is more relative with the tungsten mineralization;3. It has been confirmed that the Shamai tungsten deposit is a typical high-middle temperature-thermal tungstenite-quartz-vein deposit which relative with granite. The geochemical characteristic and mtellogenesis between Shamai and Xihuashan tungsten doposit has comparability as well as otherness. Some sign for finding for tungsten deposit in study area has been advanced;4. The feasibility has been mentioned that the genesis of Shamai granite mass is related to the basic magmatic underplateing based on Sm-Nd isotope data.
