Research About The Protection System Of China National Geographic Information Sharing

The popularity of geographic information system technology makes the geographic information sharing the greatest challenge in Chinese GIS society. It generally argued that data sharing is not only a technological activity, but also a economical and a social activity .But how to keep the geographic information to be shared? These researches and achievements will carry the development of the geographic information industry to a new stage. In the aim of establishing the protection system of national geographic information sharing, in this papers, the technology protection system,the policy protection system and the law protection system in GI sharing have been analyzed.
