Abstract:Magmatic sulphide deposit is the main source of nickel's yield in theworld now.China is one of the main countrys that produce nickel,and 90% of industrialnickel reserve consist in JinChuan deposit in Gansu Province and Hongqiling deposit inJilin Province and so on.The Hongqiling attract attention of our country and othercountrys's geologist because ultra-mafic and mafic rock develop widely in it.The author engaged in geogloy work in the jllin nickel corporation aftergradutation.I took prat in the new exploration and scientific research of geology,whichwere developed by Jiln university,Jilin nickel corporation and INCO of Canadafortunately,so I had chance to research the geologic bachground and character of mine ofthe Hongqiling copper and nickel sulphide deposit in field and inside,in the while,I gotabundant basal information.Combining to researchful fruit of the former researchers and emphasizing oreforming genesis that has a lot of bifurcation still, being supervised by my tutor and basedon production and research of above mentioned,we discussed the geogologicbackground,the character of ore-bearing dyke and ore-geochemistry and the cause ofmine deeply,which establishes the base of ore-body that existes in depth and peripheryof mine.The Hongqiling copper and nickel sulphide deposit is located in the contact zonebetween geosyncline of northchina and platform of JiHei---the north of Huifa riverrift.The rift that unfolds in eastnorth has the character of great depth and successiveactivity that is frequent and so on. The character and intension of the westernorthern andeastnorthern rift that derives from the Huifa river rift are both contolled by the main riftand form the important ore-controlling rift.The metamorphic rocks from Anshan groupand Hulan group are main exposed strata,with minor that of Carboniferous andPermian.Hulan group is composed of gneiss,hornblendic rock,micaceous schist andgriotte,and is carved up Huangyingtun formation which is the direct wall rock ofultrar-mafic and mafic rock and Xiaoshandingzi formation. There exist over 30 ultra-mafic and mafic rocks in the area,andoccurrence ,conformation ,distribution and combinatorial character of ore bodies are allcontrolled by northwest and northeast structures,which reflect the character ofore-controlling rift. The ultra-mafic and mafic rocks that are related to metallogenes ishave the obvious character of zoning and composit complex.These rocks belong to theproduction of intrusion in the same magmatic activity era but different evolutive phase. The rock's types of ore-bodies consist of gabbro-pyroxenite-peridotiteultra-mafic and mafic rocks mainly,and the scale of rock bodies is smallgenerally.According to the occurrence,the rock bodies can be divided into acclivitous (egNO.7)and gently sill(eg NO.1)ones and so on. Furthermore,the differentiated degree ofrock bodies is related tometallogenesis nearly.Generally,the higher differentiated degree,the more favorable the mine forms.According to the moment information,ore-ultra-mafic and mafic rocks was formed in the Indosinian(SHIMP of rock-forming in216±5Ma). The ore body of copper and nickel sulphide deposit presents samdwich,nervationand cystiform ,which formed at the base,side or inner cranny of ultra-mafic and maficrocks,or slaty,lentoid,which formed in the inside of dike, and the occurrence of ore-bodyis consistent with the face occurrence of dike and its lengthwaysstructure;The orespresent disseminated,spotted,spongy,lumpish,brecciated construct,and presenthypautomorphic,flame,ring and beamed spotted structure.The main minerals'formationofore is simple.The main metal sulphides contain pyrrhotite,blucite,chalcopyrite,violariteand pyrite, and the secondly metal sulphides contain capillary pyrite,coppernickel,magnetite,gregorite,galena and garnet blende; The proportion of ore and mineral...
