The paper applies the fundamental of geographical information system, based on theories and methods of coal-bed methane (CBM) geology, natural gas geology, coal geology and structural geology, thoroughly studys the general regional geological situation, formation and distribution of cranny network in Fuxin basin. In virtue of the ArcGIS platform, based on generation-reservoir-overburden condition of admixture gas in this district, establishes analysis model and spatial analysis database, apply to Wangying well and analyses its cranny network, forecasts favourable region of admixture gas. It points out that coal bed methane, excavate coal tail gas, sandstone gas, dispersed organic gas and inorganic gas are main replenishment gas sources of admixture gas; various kinds of cranny ,which produced by the crust movement and mining activity and slope coal, rock layers of having good penetrability supply better migration channels ,sandstone layers, joint cranny zone, fault zone, igneous rock wall developing cranny and emit split zone of pick hollow area are gas storage layer and have exploitation potential ; non-penetrability terrane in top of coal series, hydrous layer and layer of soil in quaternary stratam have good close over action to admixture gas. Finally, the possible abundant-gas zone of admixture gas have been forecasted in Wangying mine field. At the same time, the paper provides theory and technology for the exploration of admixture gas and offer experiences of exploration, prospect and utilize of admixture gas in the future.
